I picked up the battery today and it cost, £55 ex VAT, with VAT it was £64.71

Called Mr T yesterday and it will cost £55 if i recall. That is much better than £90, though this one will not be a calcium battery.

BTW, I went home and tried this however, I then realised that may battery is flat!! So will get a new battery, not messing around charging it. Will post what happens after I fit the new battery.. hopefully, I'll be able to type the code and it'll start first time!

Strangely enough, I need a new battery like rest of you. I had looked at Halfords but the HCB005 is now £89.99, not sure I want to pay that much! I'm gonna ring Mr T and see what they offer and how much is the pain.

Just called Scorpion Autos.com - NB if anyone else has a similar problem, this is the temporary way of starting the car.. you'll still need to get the device sorted out. Also worth noting, i've not tried this yet, so they may have just lied to me Anyway what to do: 1. Get in car and locate led on dashboard 2. Put key in ignition and turn on then off 3. Turn back on and then off 4. Turn back on, this time count how many flashes appear on the red led on dashboard. Turn to the off position on the corresponding flash. i.e. if code was 2345 wait until you see the second flash then turn the ignition to off. 5. repeat until you've effectively entered the pin. The car should start at this point.. or so I was told.

Hi guys got myself a little problem, hopefully you may be able to help. I have a Sigma S30 alarm/immobiliser installed. I mistyped the code and no my car won't start! I've tried waiting for 30 seconds before retyping the correct code and still nothing. I even locked the car, got back in and then tried again to no avail... Does anyone know of an override or basically what i should try next. I tried to ring the company that installed it but it seems to be a fax number. Unfortunately this was installed before I got it..

I've been advised that I need to get a braided flexi hose kit for my brakes. I've had a little look on the net and found this: brakes4u.co.uk Now from what I can see there are two options the "Supra SC300/SC400" or "Supra JZA80".. I have no idea which one I should go for! Or if someone else has bought some recently, what did you go for? I can drive cars, but when it comes to fixing them i'm like Thanks in advance.

I have no idea how changing your DNS settings would help! as all it does is resolves names to IP addresses.. which normally goes back to your ISP, i.e. BT or Virgin Media etc..

Do Toyota still stock these? my Supra has an oil leak and my mate has taken a look at said that it looks like it's the rocker head gasket and that I need a new one.. He suggested going to Toyota and seeing if they can order one in.. Has anyone had to order one before or do you know how much it costs? Or an alternative place to get one? Thanks
