  1. this what a good colour choice can do for the kit
  2. I reckon the kit itself is nice, just that the colour choice on this one is VERY poor Still prefer the TRD widebody though
  3. Just wanna thank Dusty of MVP Motorsports after receiving my Volk SF Challenge wheels today. Excellent customer service and totally recommend him Also thanks to Terry S for hooking me up and helping me to get a good deal. Think u guys already know about him
  4. congratulations mate, car looks sweet careful or ul give everyone the impression that matts a nice guy
  5. u can try chris wilson, and the traders with their own sections on here as im pretty sure they all do downpipes for the vvti
  6. yeah well norwich union direct want like £4500 from me so dont think il be going with them
  7. yeah wheres the number????? also if u dont mind can u give an idea of ur premium incl age and ncd mods declared etc
  8. I believe this calls for Dude would also be good to see Kevins car and the Vortex team run too
  9. yeah they are about 500 more expensive i think the prob ive got is im under 30 and my bike got stolen last year otherwise would have prob been ok with liv vic
  10. Need some advice guys. Got similar quotes from both of these companies so wanted to see what peoples experience is with them eg customer service, claims, future modding etc to help decide on which to go for.
  11. i would like mine located there too but sunk into the ashtray with the flip top working so its hiden away, dont know if this would be possible
  12. qaisar

    It didn't sink!!

    really nice car mate
  13. agree with Bobbeh, the guy u spoke to probably doesnt realise the result of going single (oh hes got one less turbo so must be less powerful) once they dig under the surface then they will prob give u hassle
  14. well ive tried to see if i can get 'classic car' cover from firebond through online quote, they need to call me back. not very optomistic but see what they come back with. tescos have quoted around £2500! Elephant about the same
  15. Dude ive tried liv vic, first they quoted me on an supra FI which seemed to be a mk3 then when i pointed out that its a twin turbo they said cant insure me till im 30! leett is urs classed as a classic because 10 years old? if so wont work with mine as its a '98 im 27 too with 4yrs ncd (except my bike was stolen last november so think thats wrecked my ncd although still able to get a letter from insurance o to say i have 4 yrs ncd)
  16. Dude's car is running larger than 650 injectors and i know he doesnt have a standalone yet 10 second 1/4 miles...erm i would say its running pretty good
  17. How much of ur mods do u guys declare, cos i seem to be having trouble getting insurance with all declared PM/email me if u prefer not to post up
  18. DOH! sorry not with it today
  19. ??? one of the tyres was flat (think it was a front one) the other 3 were normal
  20. saw program yesterday on men and motors where they drilled a hole in a bridgestone tyre and continued to drive it quite aggressivley around a "track" (bunch of cones set up to make a track) tyres were on a BMW Z4 and the guy seemed to be able to drive normally and even took his hands off the steering wheel to show puncture didnt affect handling. Didnt catch the model of the tyres, but apparently able to do 300 miles after puncture with no effect. point being dont need to carry spare as can drive to nearest tyre shop/home to swap anyone heard of this tyre? not sure whether it would cause any damage to alloy while driving with the puncture but presume not if the handling wasnt affected
  21. well better than being incorrectly "covered" you would think the insurance companies would sort their computers out. Worst thing is if at the time of the claim anything is wrong seems its down to the customer! anyway still looking for insurance
  22. this sucks mcanny i took ur advice and checked before taking out the policy and the car Liv Vic quoted was wrong went over it again with Kevin and he couldnt find model of car (98 tiptronic, i think RZ-S) so i pointed out it only said toyota supra on log book then as soon as i mentioned it was a twin turbo he said couldnt insure me because under 30 so still having trouble finding insurance on a BPU supra as a 27 yr old with 4yr ncd! to what extent should mods be declared with other comps. starting going through them with Adrian flux and they said it would be over £3500
