  1. i have the ebc red stuff brakes and there not to bad. but then i have satin black wheels. they didnt seam to bad with the silver wheels i had before. but only had them on there for a couple of weeks
  2. could be shocks. they somtime get abit knocky when worn. had it on my supra and a another car i had before that. the brake rotors will normally be stiff aslong as you dont need to use excesive force to move the the rotors it should be ok. The pads stay in constant contact with the rotors thats why there wont spin freely
  3. yes the US and UK spec are the same
  4. I think envyperfromance.com has the abflug front bumper
  5. hello Anyone had any experince with HSD or BC coilovers. In the way of build quality and performance. I running lowering springs and bilstein shocks at the moment and looking for a good set of 3way adjustable coilovers. Car is used mostly on road with some trackdays.
  6. yep definetly have a look first and see what the problem is. if you do find its the brake pipe leaking then i would definetly recommend getting Goodridge braided hoses. Have them on my car and definetly give a better brake feel. Probley worth doing anyways.
  7. yep i had a knock coming from the rear of car and when i changed the shocks the knock went away. had it on my supra and a calibra i had before. seams when shocks get worn they get abit knocky.
  8. Might be wrong about this but have you checked the coil pack clips. They somtimes go brittle with age and brake causeing a missfire.

    Coilpack plugs

Do u mean the plastic clips with 2 wires coming out of them that connect to the coil pack. Or do u mean the actual coil packs?
  11. no probs dude u shouldnt have to pull it far as u say just a few inches then just leave wire hanging there
  12. The medalion touring exhaust by tanabe is rated at 93db the concept blue G is 103db if decated but comes with a removable baffle to make it more quite but dosent say how much more quite it makes it. ive never fitted it either so cant realy coment on it
  13. you have to disconnect the white block connectors that plug into the 3rd brake light and wiper motor marked red and white on pic. Then there are 3 or 4 plastic clips(marked yellow) that are holding the wires to the bootlid so they dont move around. Gently remove the plastic clips from the bootlid. after you should be able to get enough play in the wire to pull it from the top (where the gromit is) and expose the connector. then you should be able to disconnect.

I think you have to do the same for the other side to for the rear heated window but cant remeber as it was a long time ago that i removed my bootlid
  15. well have a check and let u know
  16. I have this exhaust system http://www.tanabe-usa.com/gblue.asp?id=9 well built and not very restrictive my bost went from 0.70 bar to just over 0.80 bar. At idle its not very loud but has nice sound when u open the throtle. you can get it as turbo back system but unfortunetly the decat pipe that see off the first and secound cat is desinged for the UK spec supra. but im sure u can just by this system as a cat back. i got mine from tokyo-express.com or could be .co.uk. i think the pipe work is 3.5 inches with i think again a 5 inche tail pipe:cool:
  17. Hi Have had a knock coming from the front of the my car. It happens when turning right putting load on the left side front. First started doing it only when on full lock or allmost on full lock to the right. But now is doing it with decresed stearing angle. its not a constant knocking just one clunck like somthing has shifted. Have had the car on a ramp and have checked the subframe bolts and engine mounts and checked the stabilizer brackets and end links. And checked lower and upper wishbones. Cant think of anything else to check. any help would be appreciated:) 93 jap spec TT Manual
  18. yeap thats what i said but the bloke was adiment u couldnt buy them without the harnes. Think he must of just escape from the local nut house. Anyways thanks for that spot on. will give them a call tomorrow:)
  19. Hi I was changing the sparkplugs on the weekend and broke one of the plugs that connects to the top of what i think is the coil pack. anyways got on to toyota and they say that the plastic plug that plugs into the coil pack comes only with the wiring harnes and cant be brought seprate. does anyone know where i can get the plugs from without buying the harnes aswell?
  20. i Had a seibon carbon fibre bonnet on my supra. when i weighed it there was only 1-2kg diffrents between the cf and stock. i also had one repleca TRD cf from envyperformance aswell and that weighed more then stock with a real bad fit to so that went back. The seibon boot lid is lighter by about 8kg.
  21. I got a set of powerflex poly bushes front and rear for £270 about a year ago but they dont come with upper wish bushes for the rear. much cheaper then buying the arms and bushes from mr T. i recently had to replace the camber and toe arms on the near side rear after hitting the rear wheel on a kirb and cost me some where over the £300 pound range so well worth looking into
  22. [/sHOCK] TT Jap spec Manual about to go BPU[sHOCK][/sHOCK]
