  1. yep sure was. i think mansel organised it. went round the city centre of Birmingham. not much chance of that now it seam to be speed humps everywhere in the centre. not sure if it was F1 though might have been one of the other formulers
  2. fastcar

    decat

To be honest i would buy the cat back system first. And then get the decats at a later date. The origanl exhaust would i think be quite restrictvie and may over heat thing's. My theroy with exhaust is work from back to front.
  3. Thanks Paul maybe in contact soon
  4. London milies away from me but will come up just for the fun of it
  5. gutted worth a try though. will be in contact for the Ridox reps
  6. Thanks for the info fella. Do u have any idea where i can find one of these clutch kits in the uk
  7. Have allways liked the Ridox Supra. Dosent go far from the orignal lines but give it that extra aggressive look. Ill definetly take the carbon with all the trimings(centre's+vortex) Will you be doing any deals like this with your Ridox front bumper with carbon undertray splitter?
  8. Thanks for the info. What type do u have? do u know sort of power it can handle? Looking at a few clutch system now. Seam the competition clutch is the easy one to find.
  9. Have a Tanabe Concept Blue G Full stainless 3inche pipe work has a nice growl to it its about 100db. And comes with extra baffle if u want to fit it. Had it 3 years now and no problems. Even had the rubber mount snap and unknowing drag it across the road for a few miles and stayed together.
  10. It was fitted as a brand new clutch no re-grounded pressure plate. I thought maybe it had been fitted wrong. But have heared on here a few other people having the same problem plus going by what Mr willson is saying its the clutch that is the problem. Does it mostly when the car has been taken for long runs. It does feel like a worn out clutch problem but has done it from new. And has only been in there a year or so with not many milies on it. Not really any point in me getting a carbon-carbon think 700bhp+ would far to much for a road car. Will have a look at the Southbend DXD. Do you of anyplace that supplies them?
  11. yeah sorry it a J-spec 6 speed BPU but going single soon. looking for somthing around 600BHP mark so will need a clutch that can handle that with maybe some more to give
  12. its a bad clutch for the supra... crunching gears and reverse is a joke. When clutch pedel is flat to the floor the car still creeps forwards like a auto. Chris willson says it to do with the low release piont the clutch has. reackons there so bad i wont even fit them now with custmer signing a disclaimer
  13. looks good fella Its what i been doing all day too Its a good life when u have no work. lol
  14. Hi peeps Have an RPS Street Max clutch that isnt realy working to well. so looking to replace it with a new one. Problem is dont want to buy another one the is no good for the Supra. So just need some sort of advice on which one to get. Was thinking about a Competition clutch from whifbitz ? Anyone had any experience with these?
  15. wish i had been member of this site before i brought that clutch. Might have saved myself a few quid. Chris what clutch would u recomend? Looking to go single in the future and to be running some where around the 600hp area
  16. I have a row street max and is the same. Has been ever since I had it. Looks like will be getting changed soon then. Didn't realise they are a bad name.
  17. So do u reckon I need to replace the release bearing?
  18. This dude is a minefeild of information
  19. Just one as i thought i was the only one with a supra....
  20. ok have some video clips. only from inside the car while driving. did'nt bother with a clip from out side because it was'nt making any noise at idle today. will take it on a longer run and get that clip. allso find it very hard to get into reverse when the box is warmed up. And after a long run at speed the box can get clunky and deficult it get into gear accelerating then lifting off accelerating high gear low rpm accelerating then lifting off when box is warm
  21. i had the release bearing done with the clutch (aparently) But would it make a noise when deacerlating too. should learn to spell aswell. lol
  22. Yep thats where i fitted mine too. the pipes didnt seam long enough to be able to fit it anywhere else. But works fine and looks tidy.
  23. Only there when clutch is engaged. And makes a noise on deacceleration to like a bearing has gone. Will try and get video clip up when I get home.
  24. Main shaft sounds expensive. Would that mean a new gear set?
