Im referring to having good luck finding a car i like Dunk. Thanks for the heads up buddy, The owner of the car isn't English so his english isn't the best!! hence the spelling of some parts. And the car was took of the road as the owner received a ban.

As said it could be the valve stem oil seals or the turbo and as said if its on start up a puff of blue smoke normally indicates valve stem oil seals are leaking and if its when the car is warm it could be the hot side seals in the turbo.?
-
Im up the creak then… as i have no good luck buddy.
-
Wow!!! you have got some project on your hands there dude, but fair play you don't seem phased and look fairly confident, best of luck with everything buddy. The end product will be worth all the messing around.

WOW!!!!! very nice supra, if only.

Yes but saying that I'm not lucky at all so il have to wait and see what turns up in the auctions as like i say i asked a few months ago now. Time isn't on my side. Im not looking for an automatic or an older supra i want the newest and the best spec my money will get me Graham if possible? and a genuine factory 6 speed no n/a made into a twin etc.. And then the colour….im quite a fussy person when it comes to cars so i know I'm going to be ott when it comes to spending this kind of money on A a car I've wanted for a while and B A car that replaces my old car. I search everyday once home from work looking for that one supra…i live in hope.

The owner is on here but has only posted one post. And thats in this thread page one, user name…supra220bhp. And as said he doesn't really know whats been done as he bought it like that? but surely you could remember certain things? or have the emails you sent regarding the car when you where interested in buying the car?? Like i say its just them bits that really puts me off the car. The not knowing!! so i was really hoping one of its former owners was on here to give me an insight to where the car has been and whats been done etc.. The search continues….

Ok Guys i take what your saying on board, its much appreciated and yeah i must admit it doesn't sound right that and the add has changed about 5 times over a week. alarm bells….Really gutted!!!!!!

Thanks for all the heads up and ideas guys it really is appreciated. thanks for taking the time out but to be honest i just want to be in a supra like yesterday as i got let down a couple of weeks ago by somebody of here (nice one!!!) ….it was all good everything was going fine i sold my pride and joy sorted everything out then i received a TXT the night before going to view/buy the car saying….sorry i can't bring myself to sel…..nice one..so i sold my pride and joy for nothing? him sorry. So with my car sold i need to be in a supra soon because I'm starting to look at other cars as i just can't find one that fits my bill (i look everyday) and the only reason i sold my old car was to get a supra. Nothing else. so its starting to piss me off not having one, and as said I'm starting to look at other cars that i really don't want. I think I'm going to have to view this car talk to the owner etc…so to the guys that have said they will come with me il pm you to arrange the best time and date for both of us. Many thanks, Kind regards.

My Super Widebody Aero VVTi Turbo 6sp project
drew 007 replied to Ibrar Jabbar's topic in mkiv Supra Projects
Should fit in lovely with the rest of the car. -
Ive no need to look mate as i looked when it was for sale, it would of been mine if it had 6 gears, no questions asked Dnk. And to be honest I'm not paying the asking price as I've got a £500 bill before i turn the key!! £12000 hahah i think not!!!

Ive found out the car is in Kent and would really like to go and see the car i know…but i feel i must at least see the car speak to the guy in person etc..before i make any decisions. The only thing is its like a 7 hour round trip just to see the car. So my question to anybody that either lives near Kent or is willing to meet me on route from Sheffield to Kent is if you really wouldn't mind coming with me to see the car as said you will be accomodated (not like Graham says) and be in the knowing somebody isn't going to go and waste his hard earned money on a pile!!! If you are good enough to give me your time then it will be when its best for you so we would need to organise etc..I would love for a couple of guys to come with me cover all the angles etc.. but i think I'm wishing there hahah. I know who ever does come there not at liberty etc…its just a friendly helping hand your giving. Kind regards, Drew.

Yeah very true!!!
-
Yeah fair point buddy, i here what your saying. And yeah i wouldn't be very happy finding it a dog!!! Ar man!!!
-
Thanks for the heads up buddy top man, but I'm not looking for a white supra sadly as thats a great buy for somebody sadly not me. And like i say the spec and single turbo doesn't bother me yet i would drive a standard one for a while to appreciate the car then years down the line start going down the single route as i say it was the colour not the spec.

Hi Guys, really appreciate all the help and ideas as i really want my first supra to be a good one. Yeah I've contacted Jurgen a month a two ago with regards to finding me a car if poss but nothing has come through as of yet that fits my criteria. I don't know what it is….but I'm sure its when i pictured myself in a supra when i was growing up it was always the rsp blue so i think thats where my heart lies? To be honest it wasn't the spec or the bhp claim that drew me to the car it was the colour, spec is a bonus but that said its a massive problem for me as i really like paperwork receipts etc…just as thats what I've always done with every car I've owned kept everything documented. But thats me. I sopose i can go and view the car with a kind member off here if that would be possible? and really make my mind up there and then rather trying to guess whats been done? viewing the car can't hurt i sopose? But as said i can't rule with my heart…no mot/tax then transportation then full service new battery and a few other bits to buy, simply before i even get to drive the car!!! It does sound a lot of hard work this?? Ow and the bumper and side skirts will need to come straight off!!
-
Yes i appreciate what your saying guys really appreciated but i feel i really need to go and see the car in person to make my mind up for sure, Yes there are quite a few supra about but none that really float my boat this one did/does its simply the history of the car that worries me along with the work thats been done, but i can only find out either off here or by going to view the car. i was really hoping one of its former owners was on here. as the new owner doesn't know anything about the build!! But yes i really don't want to buy a money pit but i need a supra in my life now my car has sold.
-
Yeah I'm a 6 foot 3" scaffolder…i pass for a women most days hahah. eerr il have to get my thinking cap on then.
-
This is why i would really appreciate somebody with me that knows there supra's inside out Graham.
-
Yeah that was one of my first questions Chris and he just said he thought it was running standard ecu, i said I'm pretty dam sure you can't run 500bhp on a standard ecu he just said the car came with dyno print out but has since been lost!!
