I coming home from work tonight when i happened to see a puff of smoke come from the back of my car as i touched the throttle after coasting in 2nd gear, so i watched for a mile or so and it keeped doing it , by the time i got home , if you press the throttle even when the car is sat still it poors out white smoke . the engine is running sweet with no noises and if i hold the engine at 3000rpm for 10 or so seconds there is no smoke from the exhaust but as soon as you rev the car again it poors out . I only did an oil and filter change 2 weeks ago and i never had to top the oil up between services so it has not been burning any oil before today . Im hoping its just the turbos that have failed what do you guys think . Rich.

What car is it for? im looking for one to fit a tt6 jspec 1994. Is it stainless steel and whats its condiction ? A picture of the top and bottom sides of it would be nice . if the pictures are good and its s/s ill take it . Rich.

Im sure i can get that sorted for you for a good price . The bloke in the next unit to me has all the kit to do it . the reason when the clutch slides you do not make the boost is because the engine is no longer pulling the weight of the car there for the engine is not under the same load , Then not making the same boost . i would start with boost leak first and go from there. Rich.

At 1.5 bar mate there would be next to nothing coming out of the pipe and if the pipe being crushed was coursing a problem the boost would be high as the boost would not be able to get out , i would go for a boost leak somewhere. i would get the system smoke tested . after that you said you had clutch slip so i would say as the clutch is slipping there is not enough load from the engine to get the boost you are trying to get. Cool, that all sounds good to me mate, Ill take it you would send me the ecu let me fit it to my car, Then ill send you my ecu for your car . My car is a jspec tt6 k reg 94. Rich.

I see , i was just asking as i have never had dealings with ecus for the supra's as yet ,all the stuff i have done has been honda ecus and honda mapping . So the mines is a uprated standard ecu for want of a better words then and untunable due to being lock after it was mapped . I have my own rolling road so if i buy it ill be able to give you the gains it makes . as you said in your other posts i can then remove the fuel cut defender and the speed limiter chip from the back of the clocks ? will i be able to run 1.2 bar as im doing now or not with my fcd removed and running the mines ecu. sorry for all the question but its the only way to learn . I totally see your point jamie on that one , but in my case i work for a bodyshop and i was fitting the lip to the bumper myself , I test fitted it to the bumper and took it straight off as it was just no where near the right shape for the bumper and as i told them on the phone i would not fit that lip to a £500 ford fiesta get alone my pride and joy . I had a front lip off them , and it was the same as you are saying it did not fit at all ,i was willing to do some work to make it fit but as you are saying it was unusable, so i rang them and sent it back they did refund my money in full . They should not be selling stuff that is that bad i could tell it was rubbish the second i got it out of the box . so there is no way they did not know it was no good . Rich.

I have just seen it not remapable .why though someone must have mapped it in the first place . I may be interested in this but i would like to know power gains and know that the car is running safe with it on . (to 8000rpm fueling that is ) Rich.

I did all the panel work and repairs myself and my brother is a painter so he did the paint work for me , the workshop all the panel work was done in was where i used to work i got made redundant 8 weeks ago . but on the upside the picture with the car on the dyno . That unit and dyno is mine so a can put all my time into my own bussiness now . Im well please to have the old girl back up and running Rich .
