  3. Oh this one will go down in history on my street, i had both cars running and both sets of head lights blazing across the street into their windows :S so im sure the whinners will be across tomorrow
  4. it only the fear of it pissin it down in the middle of the night that made me want to shut it lol, there's nothing that couldnt be replaced in there if stolen. But the smell of wet seats and wet carpet would destroy the fun of driving it
  5. awesome dude. hope others out there can perform as well as yours (mine included), toyota did indeed make a wicked motor
  6. Well it started off a "good day", had a good day at work, not a lot on so steady away. Boss kept off my back so a "good day" there. Finished at 1400 and went to the gym, had a good work out, felt great. Came home, thought id start the supe up and give it a roar to keep the cobwebs away, i sat there with the windows down and how i love the sound of my supe. always puts a smile on my face (childish i know lol) so im having a "good day" swampy popped around for a chit chat about this and that. Always good to chat, so "good day" there too. Had a little play on MW2, went 26 for 4, and had good sessions for the next couple of hours. Its not often i have a "good day" on MW2 lol So the sun goes down and its 2100, im about to have a gentle cruise to asda to get my pack up for work wen i notice i hadnt shut my windows on the supe. so i get the key and flip the windows shut. passenger 1 shuts fine, drivers door no so fine! So after a fit of rage, a phone call to swampy and a brew later decide ill park the astra up with the lights facing the door so i can take it apart to try sort it. SO another rage outbreak later i need a new motor and mech, and my window if finally shut....... with a 10mm spanner wedged under it.. So turns out the powers that be screwed me in the final hour of GOOD DAY! Sorry about the rant but i just had to express myself lol so if anyone has the above mentioned part can you please keep it til payday lol (19th)

  16. ill take some once it stop raining.
  17. More of a RANT than anything my missus bought me some seats for the car along with some "universal" subframes!!! So i attach the seat to runner & then to the "universal" mounts. Right, so i take out the bride drivers side and look how the seat was mounted.then look back at the "universal" mount, and so for the next 20mins or so constantly looking back and forth, i realise these "universal" subframes should be call "bag of shit" subframes, as there's no way on this planet they were gonna fit. I then, in my great wise wisdom, decide i could EASILY MAKE the new seat fit on my old bride subframe. Of course EASILY turned out to be NO WAY IN HELL So i looked on here for advice on old threads to see alot of ppl in the past has had the same problem. I phoned a guy at work and explained my problem. He replied "No problem, bring all the bits in.Ill sort it mate. And so he did exactly that I brought the frame home checked he'd welded it right, and SPOT on. So i mount the seat and go out to put it in turns to cos the seat (top near head rest) was touching the door. So i phoned my mate he said bring it back ill sort it. He did exactly that. so i go home and put the seat back on and go out to put it in. GREAT fit.......... Only forgot the mount for the seat belt buckle lol so back to work so he could mount it. Brilliant fit, looks awesome, worth the trouble OH no, i forgot to mention that was just drivers side so had to take it back out so he could measure up so he could do the passenger side. So if i never ever ever ever have to take supra seats out again ill be the happiest bloke on this site!
  18. quality dude.. Absolutely quality..
  19. erm yeah if i do mate ill let ya kno. not sure i will, every time i walk past them in my hall way i just keep smiling :)
  20. yeah pretty much good result, was pretty much expecting a onslaught of abuse. As to the exact colour green im unsure. but would only take a phone call if you want it. It comes as 2 parts, its got to have a Rough silver (and i mean rough, felt like i didnt prep them properly lol) then the green over the top. Cost £90 for the silver and green for half a litre. Already had the primer and thinners (work has its perks ) myself
