Just reread my post, sorry it's this new coffee!!! Yeh basically how much smaller will the whole need to be to get 1.35 down to 1.2!!! Say if the whole currently has a diameter of 10cm, do I need to reduce the whole by 5 mill for 0.15 reduction, 1cm etc.............

Hi, Got a restrictor ring off of Chris for the front down pipe replacement. So I don't boost past 1.2 bar. Any way gave Chris some info that was passed on to me by the previous owner. Chris made a restrictor ring and I got it fitted. The car was boosting anywhere from 1.3 to 1.5 with an average of 1.35. Anyway got the cat back on now. But anyone got an idea how much smaller the hole should be to keep me around 1.2 bar. Do I need to start increasing the restrictor ring by millimetres or more? Yep I know this is a long shot and I should talk to Chris again, just wondered what we think???? Cheers.

I have exacly the same wheels as you sir running the same tyres size but there Pirreli p zero rossos. The car seems to stick to the road like something that sticks alot. I do have this suspension Tein Adjustable coilover suspension 'Type HA' sport spec But the tires are amazing come rain or shine. I will never by another tyre ever!!!!

Who can tune me car and tell me how it's running? How much would this info cost? Cheers.

What is the standard supra boost pressure? In bar please!!!

Um well I thought the idea was to cool the air such as the IC does!! The colder the air the denser it becomes, thus more air in the engine equals more bhp!!!! But you may be right sir?!?!?!?

I no it's down to turbo size but im running the standard set up with steel blade hybrids. So if I turn the pressure up after sorting the fueling how many ponies would it be worth. From 1.2 to 1.4. Any appox ideas?

Jusy had the Supra down the work shop. 1. I now need a ERL water injection sensor. 2. Disks and pads all round. 3. Some rubber bushes at the back which seem to allow this clunking sound presently. If anyone has any ideas where to get these bits it would be of great help, prices etc!!!! It's a L plate jap sepc. Cheers

Thanks for that!!! Is there anyway of checking it's not working for sure? I ask because the pump still needs to be mounted on some rubber washers because at the mo every time it kicks in it viberates agains the inner wing. But at the mo I hear no viberation so im woundering if it is working or not. Hmm yep an extra pipe goes to the washer bottle and it's never run out of water!!!!

Hmm, had a decat on saturday. Not sure if it's related. I only had one CAT left which was the down pipe one. Now it's been replaced with a straight through pipe from Mr Wilson, also have got a restrictor ring in there. Anyway no problems in any other gear but when I floor it in first from a rolling start in the dry with RL TC on or off i seem to have a lack of power compared to every other gear. First runs were only hitting 0.7 bar last night. Any ideas why I have lost power in 1st, or is just simply a case that the supra is spinning the wheels with TC off and with TC on its just cutting the power???? E.G. Do i need to be progressive with the go pedal when teying to give it large in 1st!!!! Cheers.

hmm still dosent make that much sense dose it!!! Um well to put it simply. When i start the supra some times the stock TC light flashes!!!

Ok chaps!!! When I start the supra some times the stock traction control light flashes. Pressing the TC off button will not help. To solve the problem I have taken to turning the RL TC off. Then turning the supra off, then starting it, then I turn it off once again and then when I turn it on once more the stock light will not flash any more. I now can turn the stock TC off as normal then turn back on the RL TC and everything is fine. Seems like a couple of reboots sorts this out!!!

Where dose the water injections get its water from. Is it the wash wipe bottle? Also it doesn’t seem to be working of late. Is it temperature sensitive or something???
