Only IF they're changing the crank pulley. But as you don't mention it, I'd say no.

I miss mine too. I have to look at it for 8 hours a day, knowing I need to sort out the gearbox.

Rear crank seal leaking? Is there any oil signs around the bell housing?

If I was to only do one, it would be the first one, hardest to get to though. I believe it's the most restrictive, but will allow an easier time of it if you want to put the second one on on the future ( you will!) And yes, if your double decatting you wil need a restrictor ring on a vvti too.

Corroded alloy coilovers. Are they useable?

From what I can see on the phone, they are knackered, top pic seems to show delamination of the alloy. You will have lost a lot more than 0.5mm, how deep would you have to go to remove all trace of that corrosion?! -

Wrong, the first division is 500rpm, then incremented in 100rpm. Hence 650rpm

Dunk, I wouldn't touch your bonnet with a hole saw, any way of you marking the holes, and popping over my way when your ready? I have a hydraulic press with a 20mm cutting tool that leaves a perfect circle. I would lend it to you, but we use it every day

Aux belt tensioner, try a little wd40 on it, and it won't hurt to do the tipex test on the crank pulley while your down there too
