  12. started preping under the bonnet for paint- nothing specail, just alot of degreasing, made a start on just tidying up the tubbed arches, (could of painted them as they were, but few hours extra prep never hurt any thing! fitted the bonnet pins (in the slam panel-) so hoping to get cage finshed this week-so can get ready for paint. its nice that i can get mates to help work on the car- but . . can be a little heavy handed at times. . .
  13. thanks- its been alone effort to get the cage done- but i'll admit, its a lil bit over kill- but we did it because we could-

  15. been on a little shopping trip, end up with a large bil from local paint shop- with everything except the top coat for the outside- as i still have no idea what colour i want the car... and last few bits i need to finsh he shell- and not pictures harnes eye nuts on renforced plate-
  16. so time has reached the point that paint is on the cars, co time to build it up make sure everything fits and plus i have no real idea what it will look like with my mish mash of parts how door looks with side bars in
  17. came to my senses- so 1jz- so i've removed unwanted parts air con, oil/water heat exchanger, fan. i've removed the torque converter, and fitted the my 2jz fly wheel. made sure it 100% bolts uo to the w58 next problem is engine mounts- different heights on 1j and 2j, so swapped them over of the 2j so next up is get my intercooler modd'd as i will run it front mount- but not how most of you huys run them- (time will show you my plans)
