Yep, thanks Paul for arranging it, sorry I had to leave a bit early, Most people behaved, apart from a few I noticed about 3:30pm (on my way to the DuMP), were racing each other up and down the 40mph dual carriageway, There was a big crowd of people, cheering, as I went by with a boot full of c*ap at 38mph.

Wow! I've got a 1996 Manual 6sp UK Spec (Stock), And at 3000 rpm the Garmin eTrex gps says 80.2mph (on a private road) Thats quite a difference. Cheers G

FYI... I tested out the Speed at 3k in 6th on a private road and the speedo say 85, however the GPS says 80.2mph. Don't always trust the speedo, most are wrong. Get a GPS to test this difference.

Hi All, Thanks for the comments, I got a Varta one from Cafco in bracknell, (Open Sunday!) for £67.35 all in. It starts much better now, but it still new (Will see what its like in a years time) Going to Toyota tomorrow, and asking them why this batt failed!! Has anyone else has this problem... with a UK Spec Factory Alram I leave my car for two weeks without the alarm on (Chained to a wall) and when I try to use it the Battery is dead, (1.75 v) only, so flat in fact the charger does not recognise it and will not charge. Its a 12v 70amp Toyota Supra Special, form Toyota, (6 months old) What they recommended to me.

Hi, I have a manual TT 96 spec, and the gear change first thing in the morning (when cold) is sticky. i.e. Does not seam to want to change from 1st to 2nd smoothly. (Like the sync is out.) The rest of the gears are fine. Once it's warm the change is perfect. Has anyone else had this problem? I've spoken to the local dealer, and they told me to use a bit more force. So I do.. LOL.
