    Holy Wars

And here we have the religious believer of science. As for your rather moronic comment regarding being forced to believe or be murdered as an unbeliever, were you not aware of the fact that it was Islamic scientists who measured the circumference of the Earth whilst the rest of the planet was content with the notion of a flat Earth, who compiled and formulated what we now know as algebra and made ground breaking strides in hydrology and medical science? Not to mention, creating the first university. The irony is, we were having a good peaceful discussion here until you came along wielding your e-pitchfork. Honestly, how did you become a mod? Anyways guys, ignoring raging keyboard warriors aside, it would be good to have a peaceful debate for once. Let's not have mods intervene or lock this thread. Well proper mods, not Ian C.
  2. I hear you. It boils my blood when im about to kill someone and my aim gets dragged away because another enemy has run past him. Auto aim can be turned off i believe. Ozz, the auto aim is mostly always really subtle to make up for the lack of accuracy a controller affords but in the above scenario it just seems to go into overdrive. It doesn't happen a lot mind you.

    Holy Wars

Like I mentioned at the end of my post, I just don't believe in something created out of nothing. To me its like believing in magic. "Oh and all of a sudden we have gravity and the rules of cosmology and even time and space appear 'all of sudden'". It's akin to having a religious belief in the default context in that you just place your faith in it. Spontaneous creation from nothing is not a fact btw otherwise all our unanswerable questions would be answered.

    Holy Wars

Science (or scientist in this case) making a u-turn yet again and not exactly on a new discovery just pondering on an old one. I was excited thinking it was the former. His analysis also leaves many questions outstanding. And who created gravity? The bbc headline is a bit misleading too; where does Stephen Hawking say there is no God? Obviously he would never give such a decisive answer unless he had compelling and undeniable proof. He adds: "Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing." "Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist. Does everybody agree with the view that the universe is created from nothing? I have never believed in spontaneous creation as a source for our existence. To me, rather inevitably, it leaves many questions unanswered. Is this Holy Wars documentary out by any chance? Looks.interesting.
  5. Oh wow thanks for that. No Commando and painkiller yay!!!!
  6. French guy calling you a camper? Thats rich. I just played 10 games against a French kid who just sat with a heartbeat sensor on his Scar H in a corner every single game and made fun of me for sniping?? Tooley, the exact same thing happened to me; I got a final kill with the Intervention sniper and I swear, I literally scope for 1 second. The guy abused me for hard scoping. Are you serious? its a friggin sniper rifle, I can't use the scope??? He was blatantly a boosted 10th prestige and utter shite. This quick scoping BS needs to go from BO. Exploiting the auto aim feature to get cheap sniper kills is plain stupid.
  7. Impossible. I wager my left testicle that the above wont happen. A reveal of the new MS console might be unveiled in two years but nothing concrete. Trust me, it aint gonna happen.

    Xbox COD MW2

I'll add you as soon as I get online. Yeah news in the trailer is in the black ops thread below.
  9. No way is the PS4 coming out within 2 years. Sony are going to stick to their 10 year projected life cycle for the PS3 for as long as possible.
  10. Big hug to you too pikachu! (Edit) Your avatar isn't a pokemon. My bad
  11. Counter strike mate. They've also copied another thing from CS and that's the gun game mode where you start off with pistols and work your up guns as you get kills. Furthermore, they have added a gambling system like CS too where you bet whether you'll come in the top 3 etc and win cash. With the cash you can either unlock guns or player customisations/ gun customisations/ emblem customisations. There are set challenges too for example you activate a challenge for 40 cod points where you have to get 3 smg kills in one life within 40 minutes. If you fail then you have to wait 24 hours to try again. If you succeed you get 250 cod points. The harder challenges are more expensive to unlock but have greater rewards. I love the idea of this risk/reward element in the game. Now, ill actually be excited about unlocking and completing challenges. The theatre mode is just brilliant. You can make montages of several games in one video and there are intuitive little additions such as a timeline where your kills/deaths are highlighted via coloured markers making it easy to skip to points of interest. This game shows incredible promise.
  12. The trailer is out for one of the game modes; wager match. It looks like great fun! This game does look incredible from customizable players and guns to a brilliant new credit system where you earn money to buy weapons. The challenges are brilliant as well and now lots of people are going to be doing them to earn cod cash. Watch the trailer at ign.com Lots more news to come!
  13. Tan, you never cease to impress me with your informative, eloquent and well thought out posts. I agree with the vast majority of your sentiments. We need more people like you on the forum.

    Xbox COD MW2

Yeah sorry I haven't been online for a couple of weeks. I shall hopefully be on tomorrow so normal COD order will be restored. Btw, the new COD BO multiplayer reveal trailer should be up at 2am!
  16. Wow I had no idea he made so many movies!
  17. The question of what is cruel and what isn't cruel is subjective though. The determining factor in an argument such as this is the question of pain. Slitting the throat for example, renders the animal unable to feel pain because the blood vessels in the neck are severed and so is supply to the nerves (which are responsible for the sensation fo pain). The kicking and writhing of the animal is a result of the sudden cut-off of blood supply to those requisite parts of the body (so Purity, if you were trying to imply something there- you fail ).
  18. Veganism is a religion in itself! RedM and Mike sound like my local Jehovas Witnesses lol. You lot and your wasted incisors. BTW I do respect you guys for not eating meat on the principle of welfare for animals. I just don't agree with your views (and not just because I like meat). You guys sound terribly preachy and judgmental (and a tad bit condescending) but I guess you're entitled to your opinion and it is a result of your strong belief in it. But no, we are not hypocrites if we find animal cruelty abhorrent yet are meat eaters at the same time.
  19. Oh wow some of this is horrid and gruesome! Very painful viewing!! I'll stick to my Halal meat.
  20. Ahahha. Oh man I'm in tears. Brilliant. Plebb cat ftw
  21. Oh man don't start!! I want one so bad!!! Doner Kebab= best way to die of heart failure
  22. Oh how come you don't like the method of slaughter? Slit the throat, miminum pain...job done. Then its Doner Kebab time!
  23. I eat Halal meat so I'm sure Earthlings doesn't apply to me
  24. How the issues of animal cruelty in this case and eating non-veg are intertwined here is beyond me. The meat that we eat (generalisation) isnt a result of us drowning that said animal, or suffocating them, beating them etc. It's not a flawed argument and nor is there any hypocrisy in feeling for an animal who is tortured whilst being a meat eater.
