My car did a 14.87 and that just has a catback and hks induction kit. What made the difference IMO was the coilovers, car took off alot better. Although I'd heavy 18's on the car too.
I'm the same myself, my SZ pulls with ease away from my mates EK9 Civic Type R and his has a few spoon goodies on it. Then also I went against a pop up light Celica GT4, it was stock, but the supra still came out ontop And the celica was on a dragstrip against me
I've eye withnesses for those things too
Also when I was out on track my car was setting better times around mondello than a 95 semi track set up sir civic, and they are ment to be fast and nimble?
It suprised a lot of people. People expect N/a supras to be slugish and slow because they are heavy etc. 0-60 in 6.5 secs in not sluggish at all.
As I mentioned in a previous thread I worked for lotus for 2 years and drove and exige s and elise around the same track on numberous occasions, also along with that an OPC (VXR) corsa I owned myself and an M3. So I can compaire other cars to it. Definetly the way between it been rwd and very wide and low centre of gravity with a straight power curve made it a very well balanced car IMO.
N/A FTW
Good work Gman, keep us posted
