  1. Steve is my name down on the list now?
  2. I'm actually dying to see the gains you'd get from a set of BC cams for the N/A. Theres a stage 2 set thats apparently plug and play. Surely it would have to do something for the car.
  3. My car did a 14.87 and that just has a catback and hks induction kit. What made the difference IMO was the coilovers, car took off alot better. Although I'd heavy 18's on the car too. I'm the same myself, my SZ pulls with ease away from my mates EK9 Civic Type R and his has a few spoon goodies on it. Then also I went against a pop up light Celica GT4, it was stock, but the supra still came out ontop And the celica was on a dragstrip against me I've eye withnesses for those things too Also when I was out on track my car was setting better times around mondello than a 95 semi track set up sir civic, and they are ment to be fast and nimble? It suprised a lot of people. People expect N/a supras to be slugish and slow because they are heavy etc. 0-60 in 6.5 secs in not sluggish at all. As I mentioned in a previous thread I worked for lotus for 2 years and drove and exige s and elise around the same track on numberous occasions, also along with that an OPC (VXR) corsa I owned myself and an M3. So I can compaire other cars to it. Definetly the way between it been rwd and very wide and low centre of gravity with a straight power curve made it a very well balanced car IMO. N/A FTW Good work Gman, keep us posted
  4. I look forward to putting some of the names to faces I could never get miller when I was in the uk
  5. I was hoping to meet up with a few people off the site on the way down as I'll be coming from holyhead. Although there was a thread about a convoy near me, there hasn't been any updates since 4 weeks afaik

  8. My ex is strange.... strangest part was she wasn't even my girlfriend. It was a bitta fun nothing serious over the space of 7 months last year and now 9 months on its impossible to get rid of her she never stops texting me at 4.00am etc!! after the first month of it she started telling me the famous words of desperation.... I THINK IM PREGNANT. I said thats a loada bollix would ye stop and I basically told her to go away nicely I knew myself she wasn't and she was only chancing her arm. I wouldn't mind but I found myself someone decent and have been with her since january and the other one doesn't get the message!!
  9. Thats some serious work man fair play! Looks really tidy
  10. 12.00pm tonight... I get paid. Then the ferry company does WOOO HOOOOOOOOO :d
  11. Haha, well its decent enough in the sense I was supposed to be expecting a premium of another 4k if not at best 3.7k So thats 600 euro towards some trips over to the UK for events
  12. I used to work for Lotus over in Ireland mate, I sold them for a year after working as a mechanic for them. I've a few videos of them around tracks, Excuse the driving these videos are of when I only started driving them.. haha. Listen to the noise of the Exige S with the 57i kit. My god what a car. Duno bout the Vx220's though.... Brakes never felt as good and the car didn't seem as nimble as the exige or elise. Heres the videos Elise : http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/newreply.php?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=2460028 Exige S : http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/newreply.php?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=2460028
  13. As some of you may know I was a bit concerned about my insurance renewal this year. I had been paying over 4k euro a year insurance, my installments were 395 euro a month It all seems very expensive but it is Ireland and nothing is cheap. Anyway, I had bee awaiting my renewal to come in today and it finally arrived. I was very concerned as rates were supposidly going up and alot of my mates that had renewed had ended up paying more and I knew myself If that was the case I would not be able to keep my car. It came in, 3.1k for the year and installments of 276 euro a month!! Delighted! It dropped nearly 1000 euro! Also saving me 120 euro a month It all may seem very expensive to some of you but its dropped alot for me means I'll be holding onto my car for another few years :D
  14. Have a look at this, its really interesting. I just seen it on a different forum:) http://speedhunters.com/archive/2009/07/28/car-builder-gt-gt-how-the-nissan-gt-r-is-built.aspx
  15. i got my n/a dyno'd in two different places, one a new dyno shop running a dyno dynamics machine and the second was a reputal garage with a slightly older dyno thats been around for years. The first one was 201.2BHP Second one in the reputal place was 214.4BHP Would make you think really where this 14HP appeared from within 3 weeks
  16. I went this route before when I had the GTR. Bought a 1litre yaris. When I woke up in the morning I still couldnt resist taking the GTR over the yaris for obvious reasons. I only ended up using the yaris when the GTR was off the road LOL. If you to ask yourself would you drive a 1 litre polo to work and back when you have a lovely Supra in your driveway? I couldn't, not a chance. In my eyes if I'm paying 1293 euro a year for tax I'd sure as hell wanna be using the car as much as I can to get my full value for money!
  17. yeah man that was me behind you. Your car is a 93-wx reg yeah? Ah its no worries, very little showed up anyway. 5 Cars infact
