  1. Hello people Ok I think i have a damage wheel hub, as i did a test fit with a new alloy wheel, and its very very slightly wobbling when turned. not a huge ammount i would say .2 of a mm or so but its a geustimate. anyone know if it is my hub or bearing?
  2. Well, The car has had to go over to BP Rolls in Andover, and they got it on the jig this afternoon. Looks like its out by 1 & 3/4's of an inch on one side, on the drivers side chassis leg, to the engine mount. So could cost quite alot. I think i have no choice but to get it done as I want the car perfect when it goes back to millways so they can do thier magic.. oh my....this is turning out to be a VERY expensive car now....
  3. was yours accident damaged then? im pretty sure that it should be too much pulling as it is fairly localised in one area...i hope
  4. well under £1000 i can deal with, (just about) if the jig works gets into the £1000's though its going to be a whole different story.
  5. Well got some more bad news today. It turns out that the front end damage on my supra warrants some jig action. Its curretnly at milways, and needs to be dropped over to BP rolls round the corner for the jig work. they are charging me £200 just to get the car on the jig? anyone got an idea as to wheather this is standard practice for the charges?
  6. Hi Paul at the moment you can pick up some very tidy tt's for around the £6k mark, and I have to say once you get in a supra, you will get the supra bug..for sure nothing i have driven in my life offers the thrill, execpt from a TVR cerbera and they are around 11k. Being a new owner mind you, i would warn you to take it easy round bends as they do tend to snap out when you least expect it and they do tend to lul you in to a full sense of security and you end up in the barrier. I lost mine round the corner after only owning it for 4 days, and i was only doing 40 mph in the dry...... its at millways at the moment going to cost a few grand in repairs.... nothing dives like a supra...you will love it..just take it easy...trust me and im sure many will agree with me..

  9. Hi I may be wrong as I am fairly new to supra ownership, but it might be worth checking your O2 sensors as well.
  10. Hello guys, I need a few bits for my 1995 supra tt j spec. I need two new facelift headlights, pref JDM style, or UK style glass. I need a new fan, and shroud (i have bid on a fan shroud on ebay for a toyota soarer, but unsure about the fit to be honest) I also need facelift indicators and a drivers side front wing, any colour I also need a front bumper bar (aluminium bit that the bumper bolts onto) and possibly a new upper slam panel, and lower rad panel. please e-mal me on [email protected] or phone me on 07880 737370
  11. Hello I am new but.... Hanging just purchased a supra, i was surpised actually how economical they can be when you drive normally I have a van for work, and a saab 900 turbo as a weekend car and the mpg is less on the saab (22) than the supe (28) when driving normally.
  12. Hi thanks Well do you think you could better the price? They arnt what you would call expensive alloys (thank god) but I like the look of them, and they compliment the car very well. Im dead against blowing thousands and thousands of quid on forged alloy wheels as I am a tight wad....and proud of it.
  13. Hello I have been on the phone to Duncan at Tokyo Express, and am about to order 2x 19x8.5, and 2x 19x9.5 buddyclub alloy wheels with falcon rubber all inc for £1382.02, all balanced and delivered to millway toyota specailists. Before i send him this rather large ammount of money, I wanted to check to see if anyone has dealt with him before and if they can vouch for him, (ie he knows his stuff and wont walk away with my cash) He sounds like he knows what he is talking about, but just wanted to check.
  14. Hmm i wish i read this before last week...
  15. Hello I am new to this forum. I have a question about offsets. I need to replace 4 buddyclub alloy wheels. The old ones are 18x8 on front with an offset +35mm, and rears are 18x9 +45mm. Unfortunately, they dont make the 18 inch ones in staggered form anymore and you can only get 18x8 and thats it.. I have no choice but to go up to 19 inch if i want to keep the car with the staggered look. Im probbably going to go 19x 8.5 for fronts and 19x 9.5 for the rears. My question is what offset do i need? and is 19 inches just too wide? Many thanks
