  1. anybody an idea? normally with 1st and 2nd decat, the turbo's should spin up to 1.6bar without a restrictor ring...
  2. Hi, I emptied my first original cat., I already had fitted 2nd decat, and hks catback, greddy-bcc... walbro and of course the 1.2bar restrictor ring... -->boost 0.8bar, thats to low.. Lets try it carefull without the rest-ring, 1,05bar at full boost *I think for now the power on 1 bar is fine, and it doesn't kill my turbo's so quickly... But is the empty first cat even now a bit restrictive, cause of the "box" model, compared to a 1st jspec decat??
  3. had bubble problems... changed thermostat, waterpump... still bubbles... changed the rad for a very nice koyorad and no problems anymore
  4. not so lucky that time, but it did solve the problem... if you change the pump, you can also change the belt, you have to remove the tension pulley, so the belt must come off and new thermostat..
  5. http://www.kroon-oil.com , I always use this site to see how much liters will go in the engine , gearboxes, cooling-fluid etc., all sort of cars.. not using this brand though..
  6. had the swirling noise only when I started the car, no gauge problems by the way... so I heard it could be the waterpump, replaced it.. also the thermostat, also new rad.cap, cause they have put out the "plug" inside, so it did not stand any pressure... Then 5 minutes after driving the car , the radiator cracked just behind the rad cap, cause of build up pressure from the new rad cap....i read you burst a pipe... now I've put in new koyo rad. and no problems anymore, so I think the old rad. was blocked inside, didn't look very whorn though...

  8. I think it will fit, j-spec first stock cat--> 3inch 2nd decat fits... (i'm not sure 2nd decat is 3inch, can be 2.5" though) but first cat is smaller diameter, than 2nd decat...
  9. Ziet er goed uit allemaal... volgens mij hebben we tegelijk gereden in assen, was met die hele bult skylines, ik was met witte supra... volgens mij reden er ook maar 2 supras mee... he groeten Rinus back to english now:)
  10. ok than will take rps...best of both worlds cause I don't think will go any further than 550hp, is there good upgrade for the "weak" j-spec turbo's and I don't mean uk-turbo's, cause than has to change the exhaust manifold... like to make more than 1.2bar(thats max for these turbos), also need a little bit bigger injectors I think, and will the walbro 255ltr do the job? I'm running 1.0 bar now... 1st cat empty, 2nd decat(hks),catbackhks, NO restrictor ring:blink:, with ring 0.8bar I emtied 1st cat, because I bought complete uk exhaust and that didn't fit at the turbo elbow... could not wait anylonger, first fitted it with ring cause was thinking it would spool up the turboos too much, 0.8.... so tried it without the ring and that was the best upgrade till now:d *maybe better new topic??

  12. it can't be worse than the os clutch in the traffic , and it's good to know it handle's 550 hp... at the flywheel btw, or rwhp? and with streetdisc or 6 puck?
  13. I think I will go for stock flywheel (absorbs the rattling)and rps streetmax... would like to take the carbon but is much more expensive, isn't it? also new bearing indeed don't take that risk and make the clutch pull again, os giken is with a system that push the clutch...
  14. I like the gain in hp of the lighter flightwheel, I read it could be 20 rwhp... but the rattle of it when you are just cruising and takes a slow corner and when softly hit the throttle; rrrRRRRRrRRrRrRRrrrrrrr
  15. got D2 ,same as K-sport and its indeed a hard suspension kit, but I think its very fine... stock suspension didnt give me a good feeling on the rear when getting in a corner with a bit speed, even turned the rear spring up for 1/2 an inch...

Hi guys, at first got stock clutch... then came the oppertunity to fit second-hand os giken twinplate, think now it's time to rebuild the clutch because the pedal is very deep and when fitting it the discs they where a bit worn already. rebuilding it wil be as much as rps max street with streetdisc... the maximum what I ever will get out of the engine will not be more than 500hp (when stock turbo's die, I will go small single) *os giken is a bit to rattling (at lower revs) and when shifting quickly the tranny bangs a bit... at the traffic lights it like's to go really slow (no gas, only clutch release and then on to gas) or fullpull... - Am i stupid if I take the rps clutch instead of the os giken?? like to go 2 times a year nordschleiffe and 3/4 drift days a year, what is the best option for me??
