Bit of a mission story with this engine Found a ad on pistonheads 850GBP tt engine complete WHAT A BARGAIN!!! The only problem was it was located in Isle of Sky in Scotland and the owner would not post it So I hired a van for the weekend 30GBP and gone to get it Poor van Ive done 1700 miles in it one weekend.haha What a bargain!!!

True very true. Also made mistake about the single turbo on the rb is is actually gt 35r . sorry!!! Ill get exact spec list tomorrow when i will speak to Damian who is the technical brain of the project.

I got the supra ian is got the skyline I want to maintain the twin turbo set up. 2jz was originaly desined tom complete and beat the rb26 With the right fueling i can reach 800bhp with them twins It will be close!!!

As of today both blocks have been sent to be rebored and honed

Hi All I finally managed to get nearly all the parts to start my 2jz power build. As im not pro mechanic all the work is done at my frieds garage . With Damian's and Ian's help who are the owners of the garage we are starting to rebuild two legendary engines 2jz gte and rb26. We will use similar forged internals , same cam shafts same injectors,ecus, fuel systems,intake manifolds,ect. The major diffrene will be the turbo's 2jz -greedy td 05 twin setup rb26-garett gt 35r single setup This can get quite interesting I work long hours, but i will try to update this thread every day . This will be a nice record of this project.

I love them rims Just not exactley the right time for me to be buying rims now. Got to finish my engine build first. Good luck with the sale!!!

Car is still in pieces Big twins straped to forged tt engine its all coming together now:) Just waiting for the 6spd gear box from jurgen Should be back on the road end of summer .Ill get some pics then definetly
