  1. I dont think John was a drag racer to start with, just started tuning his Skyline and went slightly further than most people! Definately worth £45k - but then again, something is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay But if you've got an extra £30k on top you can have a road legal one! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2001-Nissan-Skyline-R34-GTR-2-8-HKS-high-deck_W0QQitemZ220324584830QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item334c5e5d7e&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C72%3A1683%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

    Regretable Purchase

Well, im not very tall and one of the people in the back is fairly short. The other person in the back had his head sort of over the back of the seat and half in the boot lol- god knows where his legs were

    Regretable Purchase

I managed to get 4 people in my car the other week to go up to Pod, it wasnt the most comfortable of journeys......

    Missfire

It's going into the garage on Tuesday so hopefuly the problem will be sorted. I just had a thought with regards to the engine light- would this feature still be present on a Blitz Access ECU? Or could this explain why no light comes on when i try to read the error codes?
  7. Flux just told me to go away full stop ....
  8. So you're look at an SZ then I think it's a bit of a sweeping statement to say that no 21 year olds understand the running costs of cars

    Pod Whore

Luckily a friend's Grandad has some old garages down a field, so we just dump it there You should see the paint job up close, we arent that serious lol
  10. It gives an idea though, in comparison to the £2k + for a Skyline

    Pod Whore

hmmm well, i picked the colour from the industrial paint swatch we had at work- doesnt give the best finish, as it is meant for painting girders and stuff like that lol- but it was cheap so hey
  12. I insured my J-Spec TT at 21 with Bell for £1480

    Pod Whore

Here's a quick update of the Legacy project- We decided that we should give the car a respray for 2009 and my work had just had a spray booth installed (not big enough to get the car in though....) So we played around with some gazebos and plastic sheeting and managed to get it painted (badly) Prepping- Finished article All we need now is a n/s headlight and a grille- we went a bit mad at the stripping stage.....
  14. Ok cheers for that- i'll have a look at prices
  15. Camskill is always pretty good for tyres- as for which ones, ive got Falkens lol
  16. I remember when my Starlet was rebuilt they couldnt get pressure and it ended up being an oil filter relocation kit i was using

    Missfire

Over the past couple of days the missfire has started to rear its head again, but i havent had a complete cylinder go down like last time. So after thinking it was an ECU issue, it appears it isnt, as ive refitted the Blitz Access and it is running the same. It doesnt sound too bad, but theres a distinctive "poofing" from the exhaust. I also thought i would check the fault codes, but i put the wire accross the two terminals, turned the ignition on and there was no light to be seen. So maybe the bulb's blown and that's why i havent seen the engine light come on at any point??

    Greddy BCC/FCD

Ah yes, just read that............ I have never seen an option for auto or manual with an FDC/BCC Also CW has already replied above stating they are the same, so you will be fine

    Greddy BCC/FCD

I cant see how an FCD/BCC can vary between auto and manual cars, it just manipulates the MAP signal

  21. Reminds me of a bloke we did some graphics for on his Impreza. He covered it up and held the cover down with bricks...... We did the graphics again after it had been to the bodyshop....
  22. Maybe try ringing Steve Manley, see if he can find something for you- but i imagine the main issue is going to be that it is a Jap import, so they probably wont have any info on them?
  23. No, not at all- just mean that it is what they specialise in, not that their products are better than anyone elses
