problem is i'm not working at the moment (hence the sale), I am thinking of just packing up and heading back down to london at the weekend (via newcastle) as I'll get a new IT contract there probably within a week or two - if I do decide to I'll let you know by Thurs.
-
yeah - was really good to meet you all and see your cars. My first supra event, and I would definitely like to come to more in the future! Hopefully will get the chance to catch up with you all at the next event. Also good to see a Supra on the track too, by far the best looking car on the track Ben http://www.alex-roan.net/K1.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/K3.jpg More Here: http://www.alex-roan.net/K5.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/K6.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/K8.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/K9.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/K10.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/K11.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/K12.jpg

Was good fun guys, first time I've driven with other Supra's nearby
-
I also work in IT - I think a lot of us do Just be happy in the knowledge that a lot of the money your business spends on IT goes towards people like us taking care of some nice Supra's

In Edinburgh at the moment, planning to be in Newcastle next weekend.
-
oops - i made a mistake in my post - i meant 5k for 6 speed + TT
-
yes - only autos here. your looking at about 5 grand to convert to a 6 speed manual (which is what i was planning originally)
-
Seems not much interest, so I'll reduce the price to £3000, i've given first refusal to someone, but pm me if interested and i'll let you know if it's available.

hey, just a couple of small confirmations - shall those of us meeting at the bridge meet fifteen minutes earlier to give time to get to halbeath (say 8.15 for 8.30 departure), I think 15 mins should be enough to get there - right? second thing I haven't been to any club meet ups before and to be honest my Supra isn't exactly show class - got a few stonechips/scratches etc. and I don't want to risk showing us up on the stand, is that gonna be alright to have non-perfect examples there ?
-
feel your pain, i haven't had mine long and day after i bought it key'd from one side of the roof to the other, then just last week in edinburgh i got a scratch in the same place yours has been hit, but a lot smaller.... problem is there isn't mutch you can do about this kind of thing other than never using your car and keeping it in a garage, sort of makes me glad i don't own a brand new db9 or something like that though...

Hey, Looks like summer is pretty much here, even up in Edinburgh it's been pretty good for the last week or so. I've even had the roof of the supra a fair bit and caught some rays. So has anyone had any really nice driving moments in the last few weeks? Mine was sitting on a roundabout connecting the motorway to the A8 at edinburgh airport - roof of the supra - baking hot and a huge jet flew over coming in to land, must have been only about 50 feet above me or so (that roundabout is right in the flight path). It's stuff like this I love about having the removable roof... Alex

Brian, Franko I'll meet up with you too on this side of the bridge, can you pm your numbers - I'm staying only a few minutes away from that Mcd - so should be easy for me to make it.

can't help but think some of you have been a bit unkind to vauxhall with your comments

hey guys, is there any easy way to temporarily de-activate these alarms, with the aerotop I sometimes want to leave the roof of when it's outside the house or i've just gone into a shop etc. but every time i leave it with the roof of the alarm goes off.. any ideas? the only visibile sensors i noticed are at either sides of the front pillars just next to the sun visors. Alex

Hey Guys, Any tickets left, I am selling my supra (due to financial circumstances), but I still have it now & i'm free on the 18th, so wouldn't mind coming along watching the action and seeing some of the other cars in the club

hi, added some interior & engine pictures & put a note to correct the year - it's 93, not 94 (sorry).

Hi All, Update: Correction it's a 1993 model, MOT'd until Jan 14th 2009 and long tax. I've also added some interior & engine pictures. Went out for a drive today, the N/A aerotop might not be the fastest supra - but it's a lot of fun to cruise along with in summer - perhaps this might make a good summer car for someone? due to being out of work for a couple of months now I'm going to have to step of the supra ladder for a bit to pay the bills. It's an L plate, N/A Supra Aerotop (import), it's around 94,000 miles. I'd say it was in pretty good condition, it has two notable scratches, one on the roof and one one just above the rear wheel arch, otherwise just some stonechips around the front - but they don't show up unless your looking close / polishing it. Exterior http://www.alex-roan.net/supraI.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/supraII.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/supraIII.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/supraIV.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/supraVI.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/supraVII.jpg Interior http://www.alex-roan.net/s1.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/s2.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/s3.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/s4.jpg Engine http://www.alex-roan.net/s5.jpg http://www.alex-roan.net/s6.jpg I'd take 3,500 or best offer as I really need the cash at the moment (I paid 5,000 and added the wheels). It has an Alpine W202R double din (with iPod control) that I'll probably take out for 3,500, but if you want to make another offer I can include that. Viewing will be possible from Wednesday onwards in Edinburgh (as I'm away for a few days).

Hey People, I'm about to move and clearing out some stuff I don't need anymore: 1. Salamon Prospect Snowboard 160, with Flow Pro Bindings, used for about five or six trips, decent condition with bag. £50 2. Set of golf clubs - Fazer, used only about 20 times, but were fire 'smoke' damaged (i.e. they need a good clean to the rubber handles). £20 3. Thule Bike Rack (for a roofrack), fit's mountain bikes. I've lost the key lock for the mechanism, so you would either need to get a replacement key or find a way to bypass it to use it. £10 4. Small blue v. basic Ikea sofa bed £free I think that's everything, I might add a couple of other things. All prices are with collection - everything is priced to go. I live near Wood Green in North London.
