Fair enough! The looks can't be beat! Such a sexy thing to look at! I bet with a few lil simple mods can sure boost up its performance a wee bit! Its quite amazing that a low powered naturaly aspirated engine can propel such a heavy car at hot hatch speeds, I always looked at it as a flaw but it realy isn't! Definatly my next car before I go for the big boys tt6!

Yano I hate to say it but my 1.0 polo can do 30 in 1st lol 40 doesn't seem that impressive so give me some more figures, what's the most you can get from it or possibly a 0-60 time?

Ok 9 times outa 10 every thread on here is about people putting giant turbos on there cars and going realy fast in a straight line and never about going fast round corners I'm talking bout suspension setups ofcourse and overall handling I know countless supra owners who are to scared to throw there cars cause they will probly end up climbing a tree in it. Is there anyone on here who has experimented with the geometry of the supra and made it handle that much better aswell as make it go that bit faster?

Yes I have been out in an auto n/a and well I didn't like it at all, even though I love supras the auto n/a big no no for me

I've also noticed a lot of n/a's have the areo skirts which are incredibly hard to get off without buying knock offs!

Ok so I'm looking into getting a N/A and all I keep hearing is its sluggish as hell! Is it realy that slow? I mean comeon its a 3L inline 6! Ok 220 definatly doesn't sound at all powerful to todays standards but surely it must be able to move some! N/A owners feedback if you will!

I wernt realy expecting a tt at that price to be honest 1.5k a year fully comp doesn't sound much worse than when I 1st insured my 1.0l polo almost 3 years ago, infact it cost me £1850 for the 1st year and that was 3rd party fire and theft An n/a sound is sounding good to me right now till I can get the money together to move upwards to the tt. Need to go out in one to see what its like to drive and live with

Wow a lot of mixed responces! Well right now I'm 20 had bout 3 years legal road experience although I've been driving since I was 15 haha I've driven a rear wheel drive bmw from a leasing company to my work which seemed easy enough even when I gunned it a bit. I've been driving my lil vw polo for about 2 years, been good to me, a good little car but to todays standards it couldn't pull a skin off a rice puddin, about 30 bhp left I've been in my mates single turbo supra which pumps just short of 800bhp and that was quick but that's a built purpose car and I wouldn't be looking to go that far for a while A n/a would probly be cost effective for me for the next couple of years driving before considering goin powerfuller tt, Got bout 3k to spend on one but it want be till next year Havard I wouldn't mind a drive about in yours sometimes to see what it feels like if you don't mind that is? I'm considering buying my 1st supra, idealy i want a twin turbo with a 6 speed but it maybe a bit of a handful as the power level jumps a lot from what I'm used to (60bhp) not exactly heart stopping I know so should I start off with say an n/a or should I just make the plunge for the twinny? Thanks guys

See now that's what I heard but I dint relise the mk3 head would sit on the 2jz, I thought they were completely different but now I know so all is good!! Cheers for clearing that up!

Ok I wana know something, only 2 types of engines were produced for the supra (excluding the vvti heads), the tt and n/a so why is there a 2jz ge a 2jz gte and the one I'm confused about the 1jz gte! What was difference or is it jus a myth?

I'm feeling inventive to give me lil go kart a bit more umth without an engine swap so my question is this will putting a cylinder head off the same but a larger displacement engine for example a 1.4 head on a 1.0 make ANY difference performance or power output?? My guess is probly not but hey its worth a shot

Gota admit tho the ref was an ass! Mayweather was a pussy, always duckin below the waste and turning his back as he got hit and then dived through the rope to avoid him and then hatton gets a point knocked off for a punch that didn't land! Wtf was that! After that, hatton lost his cool and was just outboxed, hats off to mayweather though, hate him or love him he was on form
