After sorting the outside i wanted peice of mind for the engine itself so i took the car yesterday over to Lee P who gave it a general once over and a compression test. Results were a minor oil leak not essential to fix immediately and a good compression result which is a good indication it is a genuine 64k car Compression: 1: 195 2: 194 3: 192 4: 191 5: 191 6: 194

I have 19"s with 235/35/19s on the front and they did scrub but it turns out my arch trim was very slightly loose and was tightened up and now no scrubbing

I know exactly what you mean. I was on the verge of painting the car in RSP pretty much just to get the contrast on the rear diffuser and front lip on the do-luck but i think it is subtle but still noticable in black.

Was in worcester over the week end and spotted this car on a drive. Was a gold car with veilside sides blended into the rear arches, veilside rear wing and i think had advan 3 spoke rims in black with a gold lip? I might not be 100% accurate as i only saw a glance.

Cheers guys. I actually have the clear side repeaters already but have not put them on yet. I also have a toyota celica number plate surround for the front which will make the plate look smart and in place properly. Im not generally a big kit fan but after weeks of planning it ended up heading that direction and this is the result. Looing forward to a couple supe meets or maybe japfest in may

I think they really compliment the rest of the car but i understand each and every one of us have a different oppinion and im sure my car will not be for a lot of ppl but im extremely happy with it. It has been alot of work and have had many headache's and i did not reach my target of completing in 4-6 weeks but instead took 8 which is not the end of the world. I would very much appreciate hearing what you think Thank you

I wanted a black car but had no idea how complicated choosing a colour was so hard. My body shop had a choice of around 500 different blacks! I bought a do luck front, trial rear and veilside sideskirts from REPLIKIT which were very reasonable. I initially had alot of trouble with the kit and fitting it but they very kindly came over and bitted, bent and shaved bits to make it fit for me. Couple pics of the kit and offering them up.
