Is having the engine management light come on in the car a good enough cause to call the AA? I know it isn't a breakdown as such but am i still covered to call them to take a look. I have roadside, National recovery and home start cover. Cheers.

Thats what i have just been told on the phone. She said 90% of cars have the same ones go back on. If its not available then one from the same year goes back on. I just wondered if it would put you of buying a car which had a few different number plates.

Thats if no one has bought it. If someone did buy it and you had to have a different one put on, Would you be concerned by that. ie if you came to sell it or buy it?

Just wondering when you guys put a private plate on your car, Do you retain the original one and pay the fee. Or let it go back in the system and hope no one else buys it when you want to move your private plate to another car? What are the benefits and concerns in having the original plate put back on/ or not put back on that car when you come to sell it?

Well i am well pleased. The BMW passed it's mot today and had no advisories, And this was at a BMW dealers. There was a guy before me moaning that he had to pay £40 for a new wiper blade for his to pass it's mot. Only £49 and this included a wash and vacuum
