  4. Ok, just brougt a gear nob from ebay. To cut a huge story short, its not a gear nob its a handbreak lever lol the guy who sold it to me must of been blind! grr, any ways... and ideas how to change it on a supra, without taking the whole flippin ratchet off?

  7. ok, I had some help yesterday with someone explaining the fitting of my FMIC, I was told to move the water reseviour from the radiator... can any one explain this to me where it is .. I can take an educated guess but I might end up moving something else lol.. any pictures would be awesome!

    Ok, gona be installing the FMIC soon, the radiator reseviour (sorry cant spell) needs to be re-located? wheres the best place for it? Tie it to the spoiler?
  12. Brill, thats great advice, cheers guys! I shall see what I can do, whats a good fuel pump to get then? I have seen a few new products on ebay from performance shops on there.. is there a certain sort I should get?
  13. I just had the same problem, two back (j-spec so no supprises there) disc's were warped... grr
  14. Now that I havent done yet, does it NEED to be done with 1 cat still in? I havent got the fuel cut defencer yet either...
  15. humm, that does re-assure me as the boost controller, I imagine wont let it run higher than 1.1 so it 'shouldn't' kill it
  16. Yeah sorry I wasnt clear on that, heh, I understand what an intercooler does etc... just I didn't know if the added bhp increase from addin the FMIC would increas the restricted heat... heh thanks for your help though! appreciated !:)
  17. righty, so I really need to get rid the middle cat (where can I get a cheap decat from?) I guess if I installed the FMIC and the downpipe that would get rid of some of the EGT's? Whats the stock turbo output?

  19. Cheers Ric, can I clarify a little there? I SHOULD run higher than stock boost with both cats INSTALLED? does that not mean that they made the stock car wrong in the first place if it demages the turbos? lol (maybe im just being simple
  20. .... ok, some advice needed here lads I've just been reading some of the threads about blowing turbos which has got me a little concerned. My RZ is running standard turbos with both cats still in. A boost controller which I can change the output from 0.8 bar to 1.1 bar when ever I like, and a HKS Priest exhaust. By my guess work I should be nearing 340bhp? I have just brought a FMIC, and a downpipe that gets rid of the 1st cat (closest to engine) but leaves the 2nd one(closest to back box) in... will this cause undue stress for the turbos? hhheeelllpppp...

  22. anyone know anything about taking apart an alternator? is it worth it? I have heard that some are spring loaded and might fly apart when u un bolt it? truth or myth?
