  1. thanks guys for your help. Bought the removal tool as well just in case it is hard to get off. Really looking forward to doing my first mechanical deed without using a garage. Brakes will be next..then spark plugs.. Will keep you posted.
  2. someone must've done this- pleeeeeeeeease help the newbies!
  3. Hey all Excuse wierd thread title. Anyway, I am gonna attempt to do an oil change this weekend (Assuming its not rocket science). My question is, where do I put the jack stands? Found this link through a thread http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y122/rexmerckx/liftpoints.jpg But me being slow, can I put a block of wood on the jack stands and put them under the frame (near the skirts?) as shown on diagram? Or do I have to put it on suspension/wishbone thingy - pls forgive my non-mechanical terminology. Help is appreciated
  4. bit harsh gaz boy. I am finding this thoroughly entertaining to be honest. Though proof is still required or else its just hear say. And to be honest, an NA s reknowned to not be fast so I don't see what we are trying to prove here.
  5. I had a 360bhp rx and had tremendous trouble keeping up with a WRX (granted his wasn't standard either), but I wouldn't dream of going against one in a NA. Though that said, I was easily keeping up with a 350z on Sunday. Anyway, I am surprised people (or more specifically a couple of people on here) call NA's poor mans supras - lol. They aren't THAT much cheaper than a turbo unless you have an aerotop TT. Personally, by that logic - anyone without a single turbo manual or aerotop TT is driving a poor mans supra (which generally IS the case).
  6. Whats the SW? Is it the actual active spoiler? If so I'd be interested together with ECU
  7. i disagree, i think facelift ones look much much better. looks more modern from front and rear. sits well too as its super wide (each to their own i suppose) but in answer to your question, no not driven one - lol
  8. looks wiked as usual neil. When and if you come to sell it, first dibs
  9. exactly what I did with buying supra and rx7 though rx7 i did get checked but unless RAC man told me something truly dramatic it was a done purchase anyway.
  10. whats best price for this? Ideally TRD wheel with the red surround not all black version. Also how much is boss which works with cruise/airbag
  11. Sorry to resurrect this but just found the official time from toyota! Believe it or not it IS 5.9 seconds. See the 300zx vs toyota supra page here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=72319 Only members can see this I'm afraid PAge 3 of the clickable link PDF (page 4 is for turbo time). Not sure if anyone cares anymore but at least the person on this thread who claims he has 5 second times can rest assured toyota believe their car can do that time (JUST).
  12. mine came - thanks very much. How do I leave you positive feedback?
  13. I got pulled by the filth the other day not heard that before - the filth
  14. lol - ok well i tried to defend Abflugs efforts. The cost of the kit to be honest would be so high you'd be better of getting a replica bomex or something and doing a wild respray colour
  15. Sorry, I didn't answer your question either but I gave you some food for thought
  16. Amazed people get away with these mini plates. I got stopped loads in my rx7 for it - though never got any points or anything. Wouldn't bother personally but you aren't asking me lol
  17. I am going to be different I think that kit looks the business. Its different, wild and striking! I wouldn't drive it to Tescos but would love to floor in on dual carriage ways. At least its different to the usual do luck and bomex we see.
  18. I'm still waiting as well..
  19. big blue I would've taken this at ace cafe! You got any more bits coming off your car? If so please pm! Thanks
  20. Don't mean to hi jack but if anyone can't make it to Yorkshire but wants one I too have a black veilside spoiler (no carbon blade to it though). North London (Enfield)
  21. gah will have to save up more for reclinables then ! thanks
  22. Q. for you guys... If I buy non-reclinable seats as replacements for the front ones for the supra, does it make access to the rear seats impossible (not that I use the rear seats that often, but it is handy for luggage etc.)?
  23. my mistake - TrickTT did you get my funds I mean?
  24. Adam I have paid you, but the list doesn't reflect that?
