I,ve got chrome rims by Work of Japan. The salt has ate into them. If you get a nylon scourer and some quality chrome cleaner , with a lot of graft they will come good. I,ve done this to mine after s--t loads of hours trying every make of cleaner , and this was the only option left . The result of this is fantastic. One thing i will say is, not to concentrate too much in one area .

OK then guys, so from your replies it seems best to do the engine oil now, and maybe leave the g/box until i get back !!!

Hi, just to let you know . I went down to Devizes in Wiltshire to look at a TVR 500 last year.The place was on a farm , just outside the town. Anyhow back to the chase. The guy i had to see unlocked the barn doors to reveal about six Marcos of all engine sizes and models. He told me he also races them, and showed a race preped model.This guy said he has some sort of link with Marcos, and as we drove back to the motorway we passed the Marcos factory. I did consider buying one myself but if you,ve ever been in one you,ll soon see how really low they are ,and unless your at least 6ft + you,ll never see the end of the bonnet, as there so long.Hope this might help . lewysdanny aka Tim

Its the oscillating type as far as i know. I,ve never even used it. But after reading the booklet that came with it , the batteries have to charged up, then they have to be re-charged, in order to get the cells ready for charging. Thats what it says here.

Hey Guys , the trouble & strife bought me the above buffer for my birthday last year. They cost £100 new and i just wont use it ,as i,m a sad basta-d that likes to polish by hand. Hey matey, just had mine done 2 months ago by a guy in Cardiff . I dont, have any pics but can tell you it cost me £550 for both front seats in black leather.And thats the complete seats front, back, and headrests.Best money ever spent. It took 3 days and it was locked up overnight in his garage.Before i had them done i phoned all over the country for the best deal. This guy was on my doorstep all along.
