  1. We are in Tatsumi, but theres no link on the map for some reason.
  2. I do have a TomTom XXL already so I can take itinerary files, just their newer ones wont.
  3. TomTom XXL Europe is the standard one we use. I'm hoping to get a Garmin soon (but finding it hard to choose from their overly extensive range) and then start building routes for Garmin as TomTOm have told me they dont support itinerary files on their new models and never will. Which sort of kills us using TomTOm.
  4. Gives you a chance to open up the Z!! Rotterdam didnt give the best driving roads this year (so much so that I doubt I will go back), you know Spa was an amazing drive!
  5. I currently have 20 spaces reserved with Eurotunnel, so if anybody plans on coming please make sure you buy a ticket as I may not be able to get extras. The price covers Eurotunnel return for 1 car (including up to 9 passengers...yeah I know), and a hotel room (twin or double) for 2 nights including breakfast. Even meals tend to be at your leisure so you can eat in the hotel, or head in to town with the rabble and eat there. This is a fairly close rerun of 2014's Spa trip, and for me it was one of the best I have done. Driving roads are great, hotel is good and I will be tweaking out the problem areas from the routes to give us a smoother run. Would be good to have you along Johnny G. Cant wait.
  6. Its a more 'driver' focused event than dbv1. Bit more relaxed on timings, more of a lads weekend away. I even get to go out on the town on a Friday night!! Limited to 20 spaces, and theres about 6 spaces left... I will try to get name stickers, usually dont do them for v2 as for me its an easier event, but will talk to Darren and Mr Sticker about them
  7. Saw a post get moved in to the moderated section earlier, so this is a reminder that no discussion, good or bad can be had about Future Motorsports.
  8. I keep numbers low on the v2 run folks, so if you want a ticket I wouldnt hang about, they are going quickly.
  9. They always come back in the end!! Welcome back.
  10. Any more pictures of videos before I upload them to the Dragonball facebook page?
  11. Hi folks, So I have finalised the bookings with the hotel and Eurotunnel for Dragonball 2015v2.0. We are going back to Brussels and Spa for this one. It will be Friday 25th September to Sunday 27th September. Going out on the 7.20am train on the Friday morning, and back on the 4.30pm train on Sunday. Those that joined me on the trip last year will be given first refusal on a ticket as they all stuck by me last year when we were a long way in the hole with the costs. Any tickets not taken by those people will go up for sale after that. I have only booked 20 spaces on Eurotunnel and 25 rooms, so this is quite a different run to the big Dragonball in May. I will post up prices on Monday once I have those worked out.
  12. My car is fairly low, and they put me on the upper deck last year on the way back from V2 and it went in fine. I asked the chap are you sure, and he said yes and sent me up the ramp!!
  13. I have a picture of the clay scale version of the Supra way before it went in to production, let me see if I can find it.
  14. On the way out they had a newbie on the lanes and he didnt get the notes about us being in highside. I usually go first but they keep pulling me in for drugs swabs so by the time I get to the lanes its all gone wrong. When I got there I told the newbie where we were supposed to be and we got put there. A colleague of his then came over to apologise and said they would do what they could on the high side outbound. The return was a little odd, I saw the cars in the highside lane and then they made them disappear. I still think whatever happens its simpler than trying to ferry out way over. Can you imagine trying to get some of our cars on a ferry at low tide. Next year I will build in an extra half an hour on the outbound so we have time to get in to the highside as this year we officially missed the train we were supposed to be on.

    Help

The system has you down as a club member which means it will be available. What section can you not get in to?
  16. The original plan was that it could in theory be lent to specific club members if they needed it but they had to be trusted members. I didnt realise quite how far my trust would be pissed on to be honest. The car is in my name, the insurance is in my name so anything that car does has my name on it. I can almost accept using the space saver, but letting his obnoxious mate drive it was the last straw for me. I didnt want to say anything until i got the car back. Basically the guy fitted his own wheels, got a puncture and said he would get it fixed in Calais. They wouldnt fix it and he wouldnt wait for a tyre. It would appear even from the moment they arrived in France his uninsured mate was driving it. I then expected him to get the tyre sorted in Rotterdam on the Saturday but didnt. I was then at the back of the queue coming out of Zandvoort and saw it being thrashed off every set of lights and speeding. I pulled beside him and found his wanker mate sat in the passenger seat. To say I was shocked was an understatement. Then when I got back to the hotel I was stood there chatting (in my Dredd outfit) and I see the club car pull up. Wildfire supra is hanging out the passenger window while his mate stomps the brakes to make him fall out. They do this all the way through the car park. I walk over to the car and wait for them to park. I feel the space saver and it is hot, not warm but actually hot. I tell them they have been driving too fast and his mate gives me attitude straight away saying they havent. I explain to him exactly who owns the car and what risk they put me at by driving like that. I then walk away before I get even more annoyed. I sat in my room fuming that he treated me and the club car that way so I tell him to meet me in the reception and I take the keys from Wildfiresupra and tell him him and his mate are probably making their own way home. It niggles me all night so I stop drinking and go to bed. Next morning I tell Wildfiresupra he can drive the car back (as to be honest getting the thing home would be tricky as nobody else was insured). But that his mate will be finding his own way back. His mate finds me at breakfast and asks for a word. Even when apologising he said that he was told he could do what he wanted with the car and the trip was supposed to be about fast driving and having fun. I had other stuff to worry about so I told him he could travel back in it too. To then find the car was empty of petrol (when the club picked up the change of insurance cost and provided the car) really annoyed me, and when the wheel nuts are lose then its just dangerous. So thats why Im happy to put this out there. He is banned from all future Dragonball events, and probably from any events I personally organise. oh, and to add, I had no idea who his mate was, he never talked to me and the first time i met him was when he asked if they could have buffet, I told him it was £16 per person and he looked at me like I was crap on his shoe and said he could get to Amsterdam for that. No apology from Wildfiresupra after the event either.
  17. I'm tempted to make the Sunday a rest day, so everybody can do whatever they want, and then we return on the Monday. It will push the price up by about £120 I would have thought.
  18. I did joke with a few of the chaps that the detox costs for the Priory after the event would be double the costs of the actual event....
  19. DB15v2 is 25th, 26th and 27th September 2015 if that helps people get over the withdrawal symptoms!! DB16 should be 13th, 14th and 15th May 2016. Somewhere near Riems, Metz, Luxembourg or somewhere near the German border. There has been a discussion about extending the DBv1 or DBv2 events to 4 days but I'm still working that out in my head.
  20. We allow free speech on here within reason. As soon as you start claiming a trader is ripping people off, using false advertising and basically telling lies it becomes a problem. Ask the question in the right way, ie would that turbo kit be all I need or will there be more, then it would be fine. Start the discussion saying they are ripping people off by pricing the turbo kit on its own without the other parts then it is the wrong way to do it. You can ask questions, just dont start throwing accusations around on a public forum.
  21. Dont insult the moderators. I dont like it when people do that. You can buy a NOS kit for your NA and hit 320bhp. Its only for 1 run but you could do it, or you could spend £10,000 and fit a fully tuned single turbo with 6speed box and still not come up with all the parts. YOU have to research what you are buying, understand what options are available and read everything there is to read about it. How can you possible be 'pissed off' when you havent even bought the turbo kit from them!! You can be confused, possibly a little miffed, but as it stands you havent actually bought anything. Your whole thread seems to be some sort of whinge with no real substance, based on you not bothering to read the information correctly. I fitted a t-61 to my UK spec many years ago. It cost about £3k including labour but didnt come with ECU, uprated injectors, uprated clutch, improved cooling. It was a turbo kit and I had to find the rest of hte parts. Why dont you approach a tuner and tell them what you want from the car, and they can tell you what you need and what it will cost.
  22. Picture and video thread now up http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?322754-Dragonball-2015-Pictures-and-videos&p=4033572
  23. All pics and videos in here please folks...
  24. Heading off shortly so wont be on the forum until Monday!! Last one out turn off the lights!!
  25. Ahh, theres burna now coming in behind me... Well I better go and start packing. Chucking it down here so no point cleaning the car yet.
