  3. Confirmed from me too, £ waiting and burning my pocket - let me know when & where to send it
  4. I am in need of a DLI for my rebuild. Anyone have one for sale?
  5. Sure, provided you don't tell my wife how mch I am spending on the car - she keeps asking and I deny everything. I have even agreed to go on holiday with her mum and two sisters as a penance for all the car & bike stuff I am doing
  6. :yahoo:I will give Chris a call tomorrow to confirm payment details and so on (unless he posts up here before then).
  7. Last bump before I have to go Greddy. Judging by this post; http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=2009283&postcount=18 there might be no future chance to get a CW SMIC. Go on, treat yourself, you know it makes sense
  8. I really need a new SMIC, and can't wait forever for the elusive 3rd Amigo. So, for my own sanity I have to set a deadline for my participation in this. Unless we get a 3rd buyer by 10pm Sunday evening I will have to pull out and get a 'common' Greddy!!! Hopefully this will give enough time for "weekend members" to find this thread! So, if you are sitting on the fence, jump off and join the exclusive club of CW buyers
  9. As of now, 20,218 members and 2,298 active members are on the board. Which means only 0.13% of active members need to commit to the group buy. Just need another 0.04% of active members to get this going... Looking for the third lucky person
  10. Just one more needed to get this.....Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
  11. Chris, how do you want to handle this? Do you want to collect three names in this thread and then take the deposits? Assuming this is correct, lets start a list as I am desperate to get a new SMIC, mine is way past then end of its useful life. 1. Stuliet 2. 3.
  12. I am looking for a new SMIC and have contacted CW regarding his SMIC. We need 3 people to order a CW SMIC for this to be a possibility. Anyone interested? If there is enough interest, I will give him a call on Monday to sort out the details. -- Stuart
  13. imi, how about getting a new SMIC from Nic? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=151034 Just two more names for the GB...
  14. Try here; http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_file.htm
  15. HP Bracknell, me too! There are quite a few Supras in the car park, but not mine as I have broken it
  16. After a bit more investigation, I have found this thread that shows what various people would recommend in terms of a minimum spec to go single; http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=71083 So, I have the following list of parts as my minimum; PHR Stage 1 kit New SMIC (maybe part of the NIC group buy) AEM ECU FPR Auto cooler Engine oil cooler Gauges - Note sure what I need but am thinking AFR and EGT. Plus fitting and also RR mapping once complete. Given I already have UK brakes and H&R Coilover suspension, I am hoping no further chassis changes are needed. Anything else that I need?
  17. I am looking to make this a 'project' car for me and intend to keep it for a while so am happy to spend on it. The blown turbos are bringing my plans forward a little, but I don't really want to spend a lot of £ on a path with limited future proof for upgrades. I guess I am looking for a 'value for money' replacement with scope, rather than a 'cheap' option.
  18. I have been mulling over options and after a chat with James at ToyotaGT I am considering going to a small single. I am thinking of the PHR Stage 1 Single Turbo Kit. Bearing in mind I have a UK spec, so bigger injectors, etc are there any other essential mods for reliability? I am not interested in creating a beast of a car, but it is a keeper so I am happy to upgrade parts over time as £ permit. -- Stuart
  19. Over the past few weeks I have been getting an increasing amount of smoke from my Supra, and had booked it in to be looked at in a couple of weeks. Today on the way to work, I got a LOT of smoke and a whine whenever I accelerate. I am assuming the worst, and the turbos have expired. I am taking the car to ToyotaGT later this week for an official diagnosis, but I have limited expectations. So, what are my options? It is a UK car with Hybrid turbos. I do not have unlimited £££ so I guess my choices are either to return to standard UK turbos or get replacement Hybrids. Any opinions?
  20. Similar top speed, but I do have the lower geared off-road front sprocket on at the moment and it runs out of revs while still pulling. To be honest, not too bothered about the top speed as it is my "commuter" bike, or so I told my wife The CCM has the enduro spec. DRZ engine, which is quoted at 53hp (I assume it means flywheel) - most likely 40-odd at the wheel
  21. Here are mine; A much modded 10 year old TLR. Still gets a LOT of comments, probably due to the V-Twin noise And my "Buy British" motard that I must get around to introducing to some green lanes! It uses a Suzuki DRZ-400 engine and WP suspension.
  22. The sequential does seem to work fine, but the routing does look a little weird. It is a UK spec with Hybrids; if that makes a difference Probably need to do a bit of research and will end up getting someone who knows about this to take a look at it. Hope no damage has been done
  23. Thanks for the links guys. Guess I will need to read that pesky manual after all as my plumbing looks a little different. Judging from the dirt on the pipes, I guess it has been this way for a while, so I am hoping it is 'normal'!
  24. Just giving the Supra a good spring clean and noticed the two pipes in the picture are not connected to anything. Any ideas where they are supposed to go? (to save me deciphering the manuals;))
