  1. Can you please tell me what grade oil would you recommend for a 2JZ-GTE engine (with stock internals) running a HKS T04Z single turbo kit at approx 600bhp?? cheers
  2. It's happened to me in the past too.A few times i've had to contact my insurance company to close my account, when my 12 month policy is up.Followed by a trip to my bank to cancel the direct debit that i set up 12 months previous, just to be safe. I agree with Branners.Always shop about when it comes to insurance renewals as 9/10 there's savings to be had elsewhere.
  3. Keron is that Do-Luck cross bar still available mate?? If so what condition is it in and how much delivered please?? Ta
  4. What Gav said Carl there's a link on page 1 mate, for a Greddy BCC install. What fuel cut unit are you fitting??
  5. Ok Gav thanks for all your help mate.I will leave the Power Meter wiring as it is and see how it goes.Cheers.
  6. It looks like my Greddy BCC was wired up wrong then, as it was deffo linked to a pink wire and not that black/yellow turbo pressure wire.(E9-B62).Come to think i previously had a "fault 34" popping up before i removed the BCC. Here's my previous thread on this: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=155544&highlight=turbo+pressure+fault
  7. After i fitted the power meter i compared the speed reading it was giving to my cars speedo and it was within 2mph accurate, and this was before i calibrated it. It's hard to tell if the hp reading is accurate but it's currently displaying approx 350 bhp at 0.7 bar, with my current single turbo setup.
  8. I have just found the Blitz Power Meter installation manual.Link below: http://www.japrace.com/images/instructiondownloads/Blitz-Powemeter-iD-Gauge.pdf
  9. From memory the pink wire (pin 2) on the Thor diagram is the same pink wire that my Greddy BCC was connected to.So i'm a bit baffled now!! I will double check tommorrow to confirm if this is the case. I previously read a thread on here that stated that there is a red/black input wire that goes from the speed sensor to the odo + speedo unit, and then a pink output speed sensor wire comes from the odo + speedo unit and goes to the rest of the car??
  10. I've got the installation manual that came with the unit but it's all in japenese, so i can't make head or tail of it
  11. So would the correct wire be the red/black wire from the speed sensor to the speedo or odo unit?? I don't have a speed converter fitted as my car has a UK spec speedo fitted along with a UK spec modded odo unit.cheers
  12. Carl don't know if you've fitted your Blitz Power Meter by now mate, but yes it is the same ecu pink wire that a (BCC/fuel cut device) connects to. I recently fitted my Blitz Power Meter using the same pink ecu wire and it is all working perfect Hope this helps mate?? Steve
  13. Right it's all wired up and so far so good. I now need some setup info please chaps : 1. Vehicle Weight ?? (i thought this was shown on my V5 but it's not) 2. Power Loss Setting (would i be correct to set this on -5 ??) Cheers
  14. Ok mate thanks for that, i'll give it a go
  15. Was that the pink wire?? the same one as the Greddy BCC uses.cheers
  16. I'm about to fit my Blitz Power Meter but am unsure of which wire to connect the ORANGE speed signal wire to. Do i connect it to the RED/BLACK wire from the speed sensor / to the speedo or odo, or the PINK wire from the speedo or odo?? or even the PINK wire from ECU (pin A2) Any help would be much appreciated guys. Thanks
  17. Hi Guys I am looking to build a fuel system upgrade for my 1994 j-spec Supra T/T 6 speed. I have recently fitted a complete HKS T04Z single turbo kit and am looking to run 600-650 bhp tops via a AEM EMS. Below is my current fuel system shopping list. 1. HKS or Sard fuel rail 2. Aeromotive FPR (don't know which model would be suitable though) 3. 700-800cc Top feed injectors (don't know the best size to get) 4. AN6 stainless fuel feed line from pumps to rail (been told i can use my current oem fuel feed line as my new return line) 5. Earls fuel filter 6. Required earls AN6 fittings 7. Twin Walbro fuel pumps or Bosch single pump?? Please let me know your opinions on this setup guys.Any help and advice would be much appreciated. Cheers Steve
  18. I have circled it in black. Top right of the picture. The red tank in front of the carbon canister.
  19. Basically emissions are the amount of nasty gases that leave your exaust,Have'nt you heard of the o-zone layer!! I fitted a small oil catch tank on my Supra, so i had space without removing the carbon canister.Pic below
  20. The charcoal canister can be removed, it's purpose is for emissions only as far as i'm aware. Once removed some of the hoses will need to be blocked off, but don't block all of them as one or two are breather pipes. Click the blue words "charcoal canister".This will tell you all you need to know.
  21. Hi Guys I'm about to have a go at fitting a Blitz SBC I-D Spec S boost controller to my 1994 Supra T/T. I have downloaded fitting instructions which covers most of the install, but i am unsure of the solenoid vacuum fittings to a HKS GTII wastegate.I have added a pic of my solenoid. Can someone tell me where no 1,2 + 3 go to please. Many thanks in advance chaps
