  1. Oh I don't know - that Vectra looks quite tasty
  2. I doubt that anyone will notice the difference - I know I wouldn't be able to even with a photo of the original in hand. Great job I say!! (although I take letmeshowyou's point that if you're not entirely happy it will bug you )
  3. That was the 'official' bhp for the j-spec TT as per all of their promotional material. Something to do with Japanese regulations and an agreement between Mr T and Nissan I think. Actual bhp is ~320 as you say.
  4. Agreed. I could be, and in all probability am, wrong but is it not illegal as well?
  5. I genuinely think that most people have no clue what a supra is. Sometimes it gets mistaken as a Hyundai Coupe And am I the only one who gets sucked into the following conversation on a regular basis: Them: 'What car do you drive?' Me: 'A Supra' Them: 'Oh a subaru - yeah I know a bloke who used to have one of them yadda yadda yadda...' Me: 'No, not a Subaru Impreza - it's a Supra' Them (having not listened to a word I've said): 'yadda yadda subaru blah blah japbox waffle waffle...' Me: 'Can I stop you there (because life's too short), it's a Supra' Them: 'A what??' Me: 'Toyota Supra'. Them: Blank, vacant look. I once had a taxi driver continue in this vein for ages - last winter when it was very snowy I had to get a taxi into work. He commented that surely I was wasting my money as my car was 4wd and should be fine in the snow. When I told him it was Rwd, he looked at me as if I was stupid, and then insisted he was right!! No amount of me telling him otherwise would change his mind. To say I was a little frustrated would be an understatement!
  6. Does sound a bit odd. Either a scam or someone in your block didn't get their breakfast this morning
  7. Finding a UK TT is tricky enough - just ask Josh. He'll be along in a mo! Sorry josh!
  8. Hope you get this sorted fella - but did I read correctly you have a university exam coming up? A sttteewwdant with a supra??!!!
  9. And just as the thread was getting back on topic...... I agree with the above two posts, but i'm quite enjoying this build thread!
  10. It's really odd I think - in his own build thread he seems like a reasonable chap. Somethings obviously rattled his cage with this build.
  11. Hmmmmm. It's 3-2 Penguins hockey fans All those up spare a thought for the brave lads in orange!!!!
  12. Flyers one to the good - just hope it doesn't end up as a goon show again!!!!! Unlike a flyers fan I know as that's what we thrive on!
  13. I know as a Sens fan you'll be an impartial viewer - but just for me scream for the flyers!!
  14. To be 'onest. Obviously And I was trying to be Good Stin tonight but you're right Frank....
  15. Well timed apology there fella! I could see this thread slipping into a slating match The OP has spent a lot of time and money (twice) to have the supra he desires. Theres nothing wrong with that - in fact, just about every single one of us on here strive towards the same thing. It might not be to everyone's taste, but so long as it makes someone smile what does it matter
  16. Very off topic this one I know - was wondering if anyone else in the supra community is looking forward to game 5? (face-off in about an hour - free on Front Row Sports)
  17. Apparently as well, the US Navy had a problem with F-14 pilots and navigators after flight. More often then not, thay had a seemingly overwhelming desire to get oiled up and play homoerotic games of beach volleyball for most of the early evening, as opposed to spending time with their wives and girlfriends. Consequently, they were always late for their tea (and didn't have time to have a shower either). That is also true.
  18. Apparently, Highway to the Dangerzone used to play on a constant loop in F14 pilot headsets. That's true that is
