Thanks.. I didnt see the plugs i ordered on the list..oopps but they were the ones that came out of it..maybe ill just get a cheap set for now on the up to 1bar list.

Hi all, last few weeks i had a misfire but only on full boost.. got the plugs checked and i was told they were fairly poor, so i went to get plugs and they didnt have them in stock..(BKR6EP 11) anyway a few days later on a cold night the misfire disappeared..I only drive it at the weekends usually but took a spin last nite in the cold and no misfire?? Can any one explain?? 1995 twin turbo manual..both cats removed with 1 bar rr..front mount ic

Hi, not sure if you got it sorted or not but i had this problem too.. i took off both pipes going into the heater rad.. ran water through one of the pipes till the crap was all gone and clear water came.. put it back together and all is fine again.. must have been just a little blockage in the little heater rad..but it was exactly the same as yours, heater was perfect while driving but when on idle only cold air came out. ya Chris Wilson seams to know alot about supras so i think when i finally get aroud to changing the oil ill have both on stand by and ill see what comes out of it!!! thanks for the info though and it makes sense to ask getrag.. never thought of it really!! by the way which part of malta are you from?? had some good times in Hal far.. not sure of the spelling but its the drag strip in Malta

Still a bit confused about this.. got the BMW stuff and its more like gearoil not ATF so not sure which is best to go for??

bit too tech for me there sorry.. all i can tell you is what the guy who looked at mine told me.. " your flywheel is f**ked " .. he said there are two parts to it with springs in it and they are worn or weak and now there is alot of play in it.. I used to also hear it knocking when i switched off the engine for a split second.. a new one cost me €530 think its about £350 sterling from toyota, ouch.. have not fitted it yet.. hopefully you get better answers soon

Really.. that would be perfect.. sorry if its a stupid question but i take it the second one is the longer one towards the end..right? its just the original cats seam to have a different ending and will not go onto my decat..decat has a flat flange and original cat has like an extra ring??

Thanks.. ya i guess it would cost a fair bit.. was kinda hoping there would be i little seal somewhere! 5 minute job!! ill give the Silkolene Pro S 10w50 a shot and see what happens.. it not a big deal really its jsut where i live there are not many supras so it gets alot of attention and id hate people to comment on the smoke.. but that extra power is nice

Cheers guys, the extra power is sweet.. cant believe it was hiding behind those cats. I would put one back in if i thought it would stop the clouds but think i would have to modify the exhaust as they dont look like they can go together.. ill try a different oil first.. any particular type or grade you can recomend?? failing that is the turbo seals difficult/expnsive to do?? Hi all, Just put the double decat on my `95 jspec tt.. noticed after a few minutes on idle when i take off again it puts out a little cloud of blue smoke.. then its fine again while driving till i leave it idle again?? Does any body else have this problem or is it only on the ones that are dying?? Thanks, Brian

thanks Chris.. I was not really blaming Tein as they are fairly new but nice box and pretty paint then maybe i should think again! the wheels and tyres are stock 17"... i guess i can live with it for now as long as im not doing any damage??

Thanks guys.. ya you are right mike it sounds like the wheel is bouncing up and down.. so if yours does it too then its normal.. right?? if yes then ill keep giving it beans in the wet!! although it sounds a bit scary sometimes..

Hi all, i have been looking here a long time but its my first time asking any questions..which is a compliment to this site and its users as i usually can find everything i need to know about supras so thanks to all for that.. my question is usually in the wet when i get wheel spin (slip cont off) the rear left wheel starts banging. Just fitted new tein super street a month or two ago.. Any ideas?? 95 supra Jspec tt manual 6 speed.. Thanks in advance, Brian
