  1. Only had car 2 weeks but I checked today and the coolent was a bit low. I don't understand what you are talking about regarding a foam strip?
  2. As well as the 2 bumpers I'm also getting the rear spats area painted (the fibre glass has cracked), possibly the rear hatch if I can get the window taken out, a Greddy style front spoiler and a standard rear spoiler. Oh, and that radiator plate, though he doesn't know about that yet. Might have my battery clamp done too if it turns up in time.
  3. Not a problem. I've got the paint codes and my painter is doing it next weekend. It has 3 coats. Standard toyota black as a base coat, Mipa Pheonix is the second coat (black with all the sparkly stuff in) and finally a clear laquer on top. The laquer is off the blitz bumper anyway. JamesMark peeled a bit off with a pressure washer so I've just blasted all of it off as advised by my painter. I will get it painted in standard black and sell it.
  4. Thanks guys. So all I need to do is look out for the wheel arch liners and under tray at some point. Thats not too bad. At least with no wheel arch liners it will make getting the blitz bumper off and original on much easier I guess.
  5. Found a part in the boot behind the spare wheel. Though I still have 2 bolt holes with no bolt (second pic) and I still have that white block to attach to something. Have new bonnet release cables arriving next week so hopefylly I'll be able to open and lock the bonnet without fiddling with it and so can fit the part I've just found. Also is there a rubber part that goes over the front bolt holes that attache the bonnet?
  6. Every time I look under the bonnet of my new car I keep thinking there is something missing? Any ideas? It has a blitz front bumper on it that is coming off this weekend and being replaced with a standard but if there is someithng missing maybe the standard bumper won't fit properly. I know my white cable connecting block has nothing to connect to, but as I have to manually slide the cables back to lock the bonnet that is ok, for now. I am also missing the lower wheel arch liners by the look of it.
  7. Fantastic. How much for the condensor including P&P. I would come and pick them up but you are a bit far. Though.... there is a slim chance I may be going up north in 2-4 weeks, so can I also have a price including fitting and gassing also please.

I had forgot all about it. Do Supras have a grill fitted there as standard? I'm getting everything painted next weekend so could do with it then I guess.
  10. OEM Rear Seat For Sale. Base and backrest. Brought it from RobSheffield 2 weeks ago for £50 on the day I got my car as I was planning on selling it's cream leather and going back to black. Cream has grown on me so it's staying. Hence this sale. Here is the original link http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=111632 At work now so no pics but it is in excellent condition as there seats are never used. £50. Cash on collection
  11. Yes please Nic. If you could get me a price that would be great.

Well done on selling the bike, it was very clean. I'm finally going to get around to selling my 03 TL1000R this week. Where did the buyer see it in the end, here, bike trader or Pistonheads?
  13. Thanks for the advice. My pipes are just hanging there so it's definitely missing. Any idea how much new ones are?
  14. Just found out today that the reason the A/C doesn't work on the Supra I brought just over 2 weeks ago isn't because it needs a re-gas but because it needs a condensor. And not becuase the old is damaged but beecuse it isn't there?? Hence the need for an A/C condensor.
  15. How comes it's unused? Are these good amps? Probably wasn't best to of mentioned it's sale here as it appears they retail normally for £350+ but currently on ebay for only £119.99. Reduces what anyone is going to offer you really.
  16. Found this on ebay for only £119.99 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=230163618012&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=013 And then found another guy selling it at £369.99 on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270074626778&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=017 At £119.99 have I found another bargain? I guess this amp is last years (or even the year befores) model but at £119.99 I'm tempted. Shouldn't be as I have more important things to buy but a good bargain is always hard to resist.
  17. Will have to wait until the girlfriend gets home. Though her and following simple instructions does not really happen.
  18. Ok. Problem just got worse. Tried to open the bonnet just now and it won't open. one side has released but it appears the othe side hasn't? What do I do?
  19. If it's not a grease issue any ideas what it could be? I haven't yet had time to have a good look but I will soon. If I have no luck then I've got a mechanic ready to have a look at.
  20. It's on my list of little things to sort out and tidy up. More curious as why the bonnet doesn't pop up when released. My mates N/A does exactly the same thing.
  21. When I pull the release on my bonnet it doesn't pop up, nor does it on my mates new Supra. I have to pry it up on one edge to open it. Any ideas? Also the white block where the release cables connect to isn't attached to the car, where exactly should it be located? I guess this was moved when the blitz stlye front bumper was fitted and never put back.
  22. Picking my new car up tomorrow, hurray and amongst the list of things to do to it is to replace the Blitz front bumper with an OEM and fit a Greddy style front spoiler. I printed off instructions on bumper removal and fitting from here and instructions for fitting a Wings West front spoiler (looks the same) form their website but I have some questions. 1) Should I fit the OEM bumper to the car first, or attach spoiler to it first and then fit it? 2) What product do I need to bond the spoiler to the bumper? 3) Do I need to remove the black plastic strip from the bottom of the OEM bumper? Any advice or help would be gratefully appreciated.
