Thats a mk3 gearbox, I don't think there as strong as the mkiv w58s. Also the shifter setup is all different( there is no cradle)

I buggered my box, was the way I drove it though! Should last a fair while if driven carefully. I'm going 6 speed now though, just need a clutch!

Looking for a clutch, preferably a 6 or 4 puk. Won't need to handle more than bpu power levels. Anything considered though!

i ran 215 45 17 on the rear . i was desperate for tyres for mot. was fun with bpu power

yes everything is included and its very easy to fit, can be swapped over from inside the car, i will provide instructions.... i will also include the big rubber grommit thing as mine seems in good condition.

the shifter itself runs on needle bearings, the shifter made a nice change to the standard length of shift.

i will have them but i need a 6 speed clutch and need to sell my 5speed clutch first!

a mate at my work has taken his car there a few times, my mate has got basicly no knowledge of cars and some of the things this garage are telling him are very strange. they also bodged a bov onto his car and sold him some wheels that they knew wouldnt fit. maybe im just getting the wrong impression. i hope they do you a good service, it will be nice to see your feedback and thoughts

my oil temp was normally around 80 ish. i think it depends where your sensor is
