The last sh1tter blew up last week it only lasted 4 months I thought vaguely about that BMW, but thought we wouldnt be able to afford one, i did t realise they were going that cheap!! Thanks for the comments guys

budget, if its a decent motor, is 10k, although we dont know wether just to buy a sh1tter for a few months and then think about getting a more expensive car, half of it will be on finance and not sure wether we would get a better rate then

I think it must be a women, thing, because i certainly love the build and quality of the audi, or its maybe because we have had an audi in the family for years They are both the same MPG, however how do you mean by higher bills? Well the only thing is that i like the audi, and the OH likes the Golf, but the warranty offered is stupid for the Golf IMO, Il let the poll run, were have a look at the Seats and Skodas and then review the situation, Thanks for the comments guys

Audi = £50 cheaper, but in todays market, both prices are somewhat negotiable Have to pay for warrantly on the Golf Though

This is a choice between two runabouts, needs to be practical, economical, comfortable etc as it will be doing 150 miles 5 times a week. They are both simliler price with similer mileage, both 2ltrs and both diesels turbos, we have really decided on either one of these, however if you have an altenative sensible suggestion it would be appreciated
