  2. interesting, i typed out the thread and all it came up with is toasted turbos, iv been offline for a few weeks otherwise i would have been paying far more attention
  3. Really The only reason the film is worth watching for the girls.... The two on the left would do me nicely
  4. Recently we have bought a sandwich toaster, but im running out of recipes to try, Im going through the cheese and onion stage at the moment, but its beginning to get sickly Anyone got any ideas on the perfect toasted sandwich
  5. I put the NA in a ditch last week, and it still runs sweet, whereas if id done that in my ford no doubt it would be a write off
  6. Oh he will be happy, he does look like a chav in the TT il let you off with my age though, i was only 20 less than 2 months ago
  7. I'll survive, and so did the NA, only a bent radiator, bullet proof it is, unlike the scummy tt in the household
  8. Apparantly you can get a free one from carphone warehouse on a £25pm contract
  9. I put the NA into a ditch at the weekend, that was pretty stupid
  10. even better get a lift down at the weekend in my friends carbon-loved evo 10, that may slap them round the face a tad Same thing happened at basingstoke Land Rover, parents went down there to buy the new disco, wasnt even given the time of day, so they went to Reading dealership and signed the paperwork that day Meh, may take rob down there at the weekend to have a look, im sure that will shut them up, but it still doesnt explain why they are trying to sell me a 7k car for 10k So its back to the trusty reliable streetka
  11. Did you get your coat back It was a very 'steady' drive home on 315's
  12. I bet that was a kick in the teeth to your other collegues I just think its so ridiculous that he basically treated me like a 5yr old and had no basic knowledge of cars, same thing happened a few months back when rob was looking at the monaro VXR, 'well we 'could' get you one in sir but we basically dont want to waste our time', do you really have to put on your best frock to be considered worthy
  13. Interesting Very much liking your style
  14. Truly could not believe it yesterday........... So i went into my 'local friendly' mitsibishi dealership yesterday to enquire about a used mitsi L200, I had one in mind that i had seen advertised on autotrader that was said to be at this dealership....... Upon arrival i had a look round, could not see the car but saw something very similer, Went inside then got completely ignored (it was very quiet, 3 sales persons standing by) After ten minutes a guy finally walked over, to cut a long story short he made me feel like a 5yr old, had no idea what my car was that i was hoping to part-x (ford streetka) asked if i had a driving license, questioned where the counter part was and if it was in my 'possesion' (wtf), questioned my financial position beyond belief, Tried selling me a car before id even had a look round it, then accused me of wasting his time, then proceeded to ask me if my car had a sunroof (its a fecking convertable...) The car i was hopefully looking at buying was this one.... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/200939342528072/sort/priceasc/usedcars/make/mitsubishi/model/l200/postcode/rg72bs/page/1/radius/10/quicksearch/true?previous=%2Fsearch%2Fresults%2Fusedcars%2Fpostcode%2Frg72bs%2Fradius%2F10%2Fmake%2Fmitsubishi%2Fmodel%2Fl200%2Fpage%2F1%2Fquicksearch%2Ftrue%2Fsort%2Fpriceasc&anchor=advert200939342528072&logcode=p (i dont know how to make links smaller sorry) He tried to sell me the SAME car for £10,000 which was apparantly 'in the BIG sale' I WONT be going back there again
  15. A bit late, but thanks all for a brilliant day! Special thanks to Darryl for organising it, lending me his jacket for the day, and helping us out of a tough spot and also Ryan for mapping expertise Nice to finally put a few names to faces, Very happy with partners end result, its been a very long, tiring and expensive road, and no doubt it will be next year when he decides to go single lol
  16. The landrover is fantastic, we have an 05 V6 2.5 for towing our horsebox (2ton weight+) and its never struggled, the cruise control is a lifesaver. As for the Range Rover, i think there quite a pathetic excuse for a 4x4, but the resale value is far better than the discovery. A friend of mine got his stuck in a tiny bit of mud and it wouldnt move for dust
