  1. Here's another picture of one of J's RLTC install's.... http://www.chill-ville.co.uk/dash.jpg http://chill-ville.co.uk/dash2.jpg Craig.
  2. You can't beat the Bridgstone S02's or S03's.. They have amazing grip and last a long time as well... Continental's are crap.. Don't last long at all.. And the pirelli's are ok... My own opinion anyway.... Craig. Try this site for prices..They are very cheap... and gives you the reviews on the tyres.. http://www.mytyres.co.uk
  3. I've got 265 35 18's on the front, and 285 30 18's at the back... I run them all on 32psi...... You don't really get a lot of raod noise but they like to tram line a lot on the motorways. The main problem is the price of tyres... They cost a fortune.. The worst tyres i had we're continetals... They lasted about 3 months on the rears... Changed over to S02's and they've been all right.. The first year i had my car i must of done about 4 sets of tyres.. Either through blowouts or just wear... Nightmare ! Craig.
  4. Depends if its raining or not.. I still have the dates free so as it is i am.. .. I've only ever raced the supra once and it was crap.. Got a 8.5 sec 0-60 and a 14.2 1/4 a mile..... That was before i had the turbo's put on, and the race logic... So with any luck i should be able to get some better times.. ?? I think i'm just a shite driver !!! As for DP motorsports, i've had my car tuned by them on regular times, very nice chaps and very helpfull... Although Justin @ tourqueic are allot closer and so are Race logic themself... When i had my RLTC fitted, they had to modify the silver box that comes with it as my car was sending a weak signal or something to the box, so the launch didn't work... I don't think anyone else would of been able to fix it had i not of been at race logic headquaters... Craig, p.s. Off home now, so hope you all have a good weekend...
  5. Sorry, £160 fitting..... But i bought the system from Justin on the group buy... 01233 637333. Craig..
  6. I'm in Brentwood, i had the race logic fitted by racelogic themselfes in Milton Keynes. Cost me £160 i think. It has all the launch and other bits..My car's a manual though and not a auto. By far the best bit of kit i ever bought..... Craig..
  7. Has anyone ever done this on a J-spec before ? I've had a look at a wiring diagram but it hasn't got the "idiots guide" to go along with it.. I got the leather seats off a written off supra about 2 years ago for £250 but never wired them in..... And it was dam Freezing driving in to work this afternoon.. Thanks.. Craig.
  8. Help, does anyone know where the two wires from the green lauch control button go to ?? I've pulled them off the circuit board taking the dash off ! Doh..... Thanks.. Craig.
  9. Doh,..... The Green pads i've got must be crap as they take ages to warm up and they don't last long at all ! As for the search command, i done a search for it but couldn't find it ! Craig.
  10. How much do they work out at for 6 ? Craig.
  11. I think i'm going to order a load at this price !.... Just checking that they'd be ok.. Thanks.. Craig.
  12. Are these spark plugs any good ? I'm buying a few bits from the states and these plugs are on special for about £1.20 each.. Just wondering if they are any good if so i'll order some ! Description reads : This is the only plug for your modified supra. These copper plugs come pregapped to .031" and are 1 heat range colder than stock. The plugs are recommended for use on BPU(~400RWHP), BPU+, or upgraded twin and single turbo supras. Price is per plug. Thanks.. Craig.
  13. There's two/three plugs on the bottem of the seat i think.. Which one does what ? Craig.
  14. I swopped my cloth seats for some tan heated leather when i first got the car, i bought the power switch and then found that i needed the seats wired in as the jap cars are different for wiring looms ?? After a load of hastle i never bothered doing the wiring.. its prob just a positive and a neg wire but never sorted it out... Sholud do really, seeing as its this cold ! Craig.
  15. Terry, sounds fun mate... I'll make the date clear so i can come along... I'm curious to know what bhp i'm running, just a few quick adjustments here and there before i'm absouloutly sure everything's ok....... I'm sure there will be faster cars there though ! Craig. As for the rest of the topic... I'll check the fluids in the morn, as i've just got in from a curry work doo, and i'm too tipsy to even think about going outside.....DOH...
  16. Ok chaps...I'll give it a check... Thanks for the help.... Craig.
  17. Not too worry.. Thanks for the help.. Craig,
  18. Hi, i noticed on sat when i was driving around that my warning lights came on on the center of the dash (I had to brake very hard as a car pulled out on the motorway in front of me, muppet!!) I've never noticed it before but decided to do another test, and slammed the breaks on whilst going down my road (About 30) and the lights came on again ? Is this normal ? Or is it early indication of brkae failure!! Thanks.. Craig.
  19. Do you know what oil he used ? and if you don't mind me asking, how much to change it ? Thanks.. Craig.
  20. if i can change it, its getting changed... Thanks.. Craig.
  21. Thanks Alex.. That's a great help... I don't think the Diff oil's ever been changed on the car ! Is this a normal service item ? Thanks.. Craig.
  22. Ok the car's going to go in for a complete service of every fluid in the car... Can anyone recommend what fluids i should use say on the gearbox, power steerting etc etc ? I want to change everything, for the winter runs... Many thanks... Craig.
  23. Arrr......I wonder why that is ? Strange... Oh well.. Thanks anyway.. Back to work in the office on my own, god i hate the night shift ! Craig.
  24. I've seen a few people saying about there Diff coller's leaking ? Quick question... I know its under the rear drivers side wheel, but how do i get to it to check and clean it ? and what does it look like ? (A smaller intercooler ??) And where can you check the level in it and fill it up from ? Just checking as i've never cleaned mine and i think i should......Lots of questions... Many thanks.... Craig.
