Na, i don't think so... I had the clutch uprated about 2 years ago when it was really slipping.. It use to rev with no pull....

yep...turned the race logic off today and floored it.... Absoloutly fine until about 5k in 5th and the wheels started to spin - ever so slightly but was definatly spinning... Not as bad as it was in the damp.... If i'm more gentle with my right foot it's ok.... checked the rear tyres and they still have about 1-2mm of legal tread left.... How on earth can i be spinning up in 5th gear ?? Oh well.. I raised the boost to 1.2 again.... Car flies....

Ta John.... I've now got his hand and he wants it back to do the wheels...... Its a place near southend called Rochford tyres.... They do loads and they look pretty good to be fair. They said i can have mine refurbished to any spec/colour i want... If anyone wants the number drop me a mail.... Thanks again... Now i just need to muscer up £200 from somewhere... Best price for a 285 30 18 ? I've been quoted £151 each inc VAT for continental sports.... - But don't really want them as they are what i have on the car at the moment and i think they are cr*p compared to some others i've had.

Right, i had my wheels refurbished about 2/3 years ago and they obviously didn't put enough if any laquer on them as they now look sh*te. Been quoted £48 a wheel to get them refurbished again.. Is this a good price for 18" split rims ? Or..... Do i sell them and get another/cheaper set. ? They are front 265 35 18's and back 285 30 18's gewalt split rims. Ta. Craig,

You think maybe try changing the spark plugs then for a trial to see if that fixes it ? I currently have hks iridiums in the car... What plugs did you get again Paul ?

Just got back in.... Seems the car pulls well, then theres a sort of misfiring sound and a (the only way i can describe it) spluttering noise and the car seems to go a little lumpy and the revs seemed to jump around a little (May jut be lumpy road that though).. - Going to take the bleed valve off tommorrow for my trip to bournemouth as i don't want to damage anything ! Any ideas or should i take it somewhere for someone to take a look..... Oh Mr Wilson..........

Had the car serviced about a month ago...... But the plugs were fine.... I'll try later when the alcohol has warned off with the race logic off.

Yep, 3 of us in the car... and i floored it.. in 4th gear second turbo comes on line about 4 4-5k revs and the boost went up to 1.1 and then there was sort of a popping noise from the exhaust - only slightly though.. I didn't notice it at 1 bar.. Is that a little better ? Thanks. Craig,

I was playing with the bleed valve/Manual boost controller last night to get it on to 1.2 bar. After i adjusted it the first time i was hitting 1 bar and it was fine. So i though i'd put it up just slightly more,. But when i accelerate hard there was like a slight popping sound at about 1.1/1.2 bar when over 4k revs.. Anyone know what this is ? Is it the restrictor ring in the exhaust ? Or is it the race logic stopping wheelspin (as it was slightly damp? I turned the boost back to 1 bar again and all seems fine. Thanks. Craig,

Paul, Mine use to do this when i first had it... Use to only be when i was flat out and then the car seems to kinda shut down for a second with the warning light coming on. - I'm pretty sure its fuel cut, but i'm sure someone will be along shortly to give us the details "It will also be faster without its door mirror :p" - Lol.... - U know f its fixable yet ? Yep... I had to fit it to the other pipe that goes from the turbo to the actuator (think thats right).. It was just to the right of that blue pipe in the pic.. Just need to have a clean up of the pipes as its a little untidy at the moment because i didn't want to cut anything in case it was the wrong pipe.. Thanks for all your help chaps.. Craig,

ok...I cut the blue pipe and put it on... Drove..Twisted it.... Drove some more...Twisted it.... Drove some more.... Twisted it....Drove some more.... Won't twist anymore Still 0.7 bar... I think i'll try and put it on the other pipe when the engine's cooled down - As the back of my hand just found a nice hot pipe... Craig.

Hasn't turned up yet, But as i've just found out it isn't a bleed valve such to speak, its a manual boost controller which looks like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2468678673&category=32094 So i take it, it still goes in the same place ? Doh.... My bad...
