    Strange smell

Your a star for mentioning this. My car stunk on the first night of fitting my new miami gt exhaust (From Ivan), and have just remembered that he told me there was some plastic stuck to it from a previous melted bag accident. Doesnt smell anymore and just looked under the car to see that its all gone. Sweet!
  4. Razza have you still not got an engine!
  5. No problem. If i had £450 i would snap it right up as i know how good they are! Mine never worked properly because i dropped the Satnav box and after that it couldn't tell which direction the car was going... Very strange!
  6. Lol this is going round all the tuning sites atm. What a Noob, I know nothing about mechanics but even i can say that wouldn't work!
  7. I had one of these in my last car and foolishly sold it to pay for new suspension for the Supra. It most definately one of the best touch screen dvd headunits money can buy, and the screen effects really look the part too!
  8. lol to Keron. Your not the only one.

    :d

lol Hope theres no Germans on this forum!
  10. On my last supe i changed the pilot bearing, release bearing, links, and spigot ring as well as a new flywheel and clutch (Both knackered). I never got any noise from the clutch afterwards! I think following your list ill change everything but the flywheel and clutch (Unleasee theres a problem with either of them! Thanks
  11. Just a quicky. People who have both seen my facelift and my previous non facelift supra keep asking me the same question. "Why have they taken away the digital mileometer"? Mileometer may not be the right word but i cant think of the exact term for it. Cheers
  12. Evening all. Following on from Supracharged's last thread, i have an 6 speed gearbox which has or is leaking as its covered in cruddy oil. Is it safe to put the car up onto a ramp and steam clean the oil off? Next im hoping to get a friend (Mechanic), to remove the box, clutch and flywheel etc and have a good check over everything. What bits should i replace while its all off and how do i find out theyre exact part codes to buy them from toyota/supra traders. Im thinking all gearbox seals, and all bearings straight away! The clutch has a good biting point but theres something making a noise when i press the clutch down so i hope by replacing all the bearings and bolts and seals i can eliminate the noises! If anyone would be kind enough to produce a list or give tips/ideas of what i need to do then it would be very much appriciated! Thankyou:)
  13. Where would i get one of these. I know this is a problem with my box!
  14. Same with the flywheel. How would i go about finding out if its faulty once its been taken out? lol
  15. What problems would you get with a worn spigot ring? Its only ive been experiencing some some strange noises (Very faint but noticeable from outside the car when i push down the clutch to change gear! The clutch biting point is very good so i cant see the clutch being the problem but i really want to find out whats wrong!
  16. Are you still in weymouth? Pm and i'll come fix it if u want!
  17. Will the decat fit an N/a? Still unsure of the 1st decat position!
  18. Ahh those damn Celica lights are back again. First the Mr2 owners are doing that conversion and now this bloke. What a Waste!
  19. Ive got the 6 speed box! I'll check the turning off bit tomorrow thanks.
  20. Evening all. Im trying to pinpoint a clunking noise i have coming from the clutch/Gearbox assembly area. In neutral, clutch down and up makes no noise what so ever! 1st Gear, pulling away is fine, push the clutch down to go into second gear and i get a very small but noticable metallic clunking sound (Almost sounds like something being dropped and bouncing slightly). Clutch goes back up and no noise. I'll pull up somewhere and put the clutch down and the noise is there again. If i sit in 1st gear and get to the biting point and push down on the clutch again the noise always occurs! Ive been given the following suggestions so far.... 1: Propshaft is moving/loose? 2: Control arm bushes? (Im guessing they mean clutch arm) 3: Release bearing for the clutch? 4: Dodgy clutch/flywheel? So come on guys, please tell me the bad news so i can get the b*****d thing stripped and repaired asap! lol:rolleyes:
  21. A mate just told me they do Non alcoholic Kopperberg! Tbh you might as well just drink appletise!
  22. Yes I think you're right there. I still think its quite low especially for the police entrance. Ive been in the gym abit since and can now get to level 9 which is good, but im hoping that with more running i can achieve level 10 - 12.
