i really hope for all cars sake its a good film. but as per usual in yank films they have to dress up the whole show in a big american stars and stripes V8. i'm sorry but all american technology is based upon "well darn it! we'l just add 2 more litres to the engine and it will go faster"! i really hope it does well but not embarress its self and supras in the process

check all piping/hoses with engine tickover and get someone to blip the throttle. the smallist hole can make a hell of an annoying noise.

mine are called wintertrac or something? have to look but cost £900 for all 4 with on 19's with 10" rears..... ive got no trac con but fuc* me they grip well. don't want to get a flat anytime soon though lol

Welcome!!! just a quick question about your last gto. ive never had one but there seems to be a mixed opinion of the handling on them, whether be stock or aftermarket suspension. Few people told me they handle like a whale lol. others said like on rails. this is one of the reasons i didn't get one few years back but just want to know are they that good/bad?

only injectors as far as i know for the engine but havent looked in detail yet. on my to do list. if i start needing forged pistons and rods i might leave it a while but i thought that was the kind of thing you only have when running on big power

Ok i suspect my current turbo is a T60 or something simular (pushing around 450bhp) and thinking about replacing it once i get my 6spd gearbox put in. i will find out what my turbo is once i get the time to have a good look as theres lots of piping in the way covering everything. When swapping a turbo what exactly needs to be done. is it a lot of work and changing pipe work around. what would be a sensible turbo to get so i can use it every day with fast..ish spool. i mean 450bhp is quick but started to get a bit used to it after a while. maybe 500bhp or is that asking a bit too much?

has the same plot as a documentry except useless information , wrong engines in cars, apparantly we have to double clutch in drag races???, and using 25 year old actors to play 17 year old yanks with incredibly annoying accents and one white guy who speaks more "street black" than the black guy lol a few good stunts though

this reminds me of when i first joined and it took a month to prove i even had a supra!!! that was a rather unpleasent thread......for me anyway. Still waiting for appologies now lol

ok just did a simple battery test on the alternator and looks likes its busted- must be internal as the belt drives the pully but flux doesn't move so somethings gone. car must have been purley running off the new battery all the time. time for a new alternator me thinks.

i'm running single. because of the 5 speed box i havent spooled up my turbos till i get my 6spd conversion done- i havent got any cats (catalic converter if that what you meant?) as its straight through exhaust system.

ok this is what i'm seeing. now in one of the pics with the alternator with arrow, should this be moving (flux looking bits inside alternator) the belts are moving alternator pulley fine. Now the wire coming from the alternator in 2nd pic is bit thin and worn and not sure if it looks like its working. the 3rd pic highlights the symbol next to the battery which is always on but the battery has gone off ( i assume by charging it) is this the alternator symbol? also what does this oil symbol mean in pic 4 as its lighted up now even though i topped up the oil sunday?
