  1. Unfortunatly the engines out and hes started the work so im commited, fingers crossed everythings gonna be ok,but if anything were to break he would fix it.
  2. He did say £1200 then said it was £900 i do have a question that concerns me as i dont know much about it, as for the mapping he uses a guy he trusts and says is very good i asked about the rolling road which he says hed put his wheels with bigger tyres on the back of my car and its gets mapped on the road can this be done as accuratly as a rolling road mapping.
  3. I have a list of parts update everything is new or nearly new, gt35r turbo tial wastegate tial bov aem series 2 ecu aem induction kit aem wide band aem boost controller siemens fueling with 920 injectors screamer pipe exedy twin plate clutch 044 fuel pump manifold with t3 flange oil cooler and everything else ill need ie pipes hoses etc, also some engine bling if i want it, the suspension is bc but not decided if i want that yet.
  4. thanks for the advice nic your making me have doubts now lol, ill talk to him tommorrow
  5. He did give me rough list of parts but not in detail the parts are coming off his car which he built himself, hes upgrading everything on his for more power and he has a new sponsorship worth a lot of money for drifting so i trust his workmanship. Hes been servicing my car for about 2 years now so i do trust him.Plus his parts are all fairly new the turbos had about 15hours drifting use on it.
  6. Its marcin auto centre in dundee their polish he knows supras inside out he gets sponsored for drifting his car his was over 600bhp, not sure which manifold he wrote me a list of parts, but yes bigger injectors fuel rail bigger fuel pump oil cooler not sure which aem either, im leaving it in his hands and looking forward to the results.
  7. The guy who services my car has a supra he uses for drifting and time attack, hes adding more power to his car so hes offered me everything i need to go from bpu to single for £6000 including labour, thats an offer i cant refuse all his parts are fairly new including gt35r turbo tial wastegate tial bov aem ecu aem induction kit exedy twin plate clutch boost controller, the only extra will be getting it remapped. Hes offered me his suspension as well for £600 not sure which make but cost £1200 new, car goes in tommorrow should be ready end of next week.
  8. Few people have suggested the coil packs its in the garage away to get looked at tommorrow so hope they solve the problem.
  9. right call me an idiot but its code 14 finally got it
  10. I checked the error codes again its blink pause blink pause blink blink blink which looks like 23 so must be wrong
  11. So whats a tps circuit what are the symptoms
  12. Ye ill try again tommorrow was dark and raining when i had a look done it too quick
  13. Today my engine managment light came on the car was losing power and spluttering, i managed to get it home barely touching the accelerator. I tryed to check the error codes im sure it was blink slight pause blink 4 blinks pause 4 blinks then blink slight pause blink hope this makes sense to someone because im not very mechanically minded so im stumped. Its a jspec bpu man tt thanks in advance.
  14. thanks for the info but the cars going into a garage of my choice on wednesday paid for by halfrauds gonna get it serviced at the same time im paying for that, its a polish guy who has it, having built his 700bhp supra drift car im sure my seat wont be a problem to fix.
  15. lol exactly was watching the guy when he was doing it told it had to be equally he was old and said youd have to be pretty good to do them both at the same time, the left inside threads still there the right side has vanished somewhere, so how do i fix the problem or will i just leave it to someone who knows what their doing. The choices are my mates garage whos an auto sparky or a polish garage in dundee who knows supras inside out whos built a 750 bhp drift car.
  16. Thanks so the garage tryed that today moved about 3 inches forward sounded like its came off the rails cos the motors still working but not moving and the bolts came off the thread so wont go any further, the good news is the manager of halfords has basically admitted their auto repair centre is crap and told me to take my car out and go wherever i want who knows what their doing and theyll pay. So a weeks been wasted for nothing when i couldve had it into my first choice of garage and been fixed by now.
  17. I decided to get a new stereo on sunday when mine packed in, foolishly i went to halfords for a cheap one and got them to fit it, took over an hour but the big lump who fitted it pushed my seat right back and jammed it, its as far back as itll go and wont move either way. The motors still working but seems to be jammed on the left. Theyve taken it to their auto repair centre but no one has a clue how to fix it, or even get to the bolts to remove it. Todays update was we need authorisation from head office to maybe cut the frame to get it out then replace it, my words were wtf i dont think so, told them to remove front bolts to maybe lift it up enough to get the back bolts. So help someone please before the halfrauds dipshits hack up my car, can you manually move it without damaging the motor or cogs thanks in advance.
  18. Hi mate i have one here if you need it thought mine was going last month so i bought one from a guy on here, turns out it was only needing cleaned out and bled, i paid £72.50 including postage for it cheers.
  19. Thanks i'll give that a try again i cleaned it out on wed with white spirit the fluid was pretty brown done a lock to lock a few times didnt make any difference left it until the next night still the same noise although i didnt try to bleed it again, took it to get the other pump fitted the next day. I'll tell them to give it another clean tommorrow.
  20. So maybe if i'd bled it properly the first time i wouldnt have had to change the pump but it was only whineing a bit for a few mins then the next day sounded like the pump had gone. Not good if im needing a new rack just paid insurance tax bought a clutch and im going to dubai next week, only good news is it sailed through the mot apart from the dodgy steering.
  21. Actually the first time i tryed it on tuesday i didnt realise the wheels had to be off the ground, only noticed after doing a search tonight, the cars in the garage until monday i'll get them to try it. Did think its a bit weird whineing slightly one day then really bad the next would a rack go that quick.
  22. For the last few weeks my ps has been whineing for a few mins on start up then its fine. Tuesday i started it the steering barely moved its groaning and whineing really bad, its eases slightly with higher revs but its still not right. I took off reservoir cleaned it out made no difference, bought a pump from richardstock, car was in getting mot'd yesterday they fitted the other ps pump it made no difference still sounds the same. So either both pumps are knackered or like they say im needing a new rack. What are the other options could it be the reservoir.
  23. Im bpu but the hoses and everything else are standard never been moved the mots due in two days dont want to move it until its fixed.
  24. Right i took off reservoir cleaned it out tryed bleeding it again still no better sounds like the belts under a lot of stress, eases off a bit with higher revs must be the pump.
