  1. Im not so sure about that. I think there are plenty of people out there willing to choose a Jap car of a European rival. There will always be snobbery but I don't think it's as bad as it used to be.
  2. It will never get sold here for 40k. I've been asked by Middlehurst motorsport who will be officially selling them if I would like to put a deposit down on one and they are looking in the region of 55k+
  3. not a problem mate, I didn't think you were. It's hard to believe what it's capable of.

  5. Errr, no actually. The test was done on an independantly owned GTR and carried out by an American magazine.
  6. Prices are expected to be about 60k. There was a test video on here the other day and it managed 0-60 in 3.3 and a 1/4 mile in 11.6. That speaks quite a lot and from all the reports I've read so far they've generally it's better than the 911. Can't be too bad then.
  7. wtf? Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it as they're great cars.
  8. Irelevant of what you looked like in it they are great sports cars.
  9. Book: Red storm rising - Tom Clancy Film: Amelie Album: Bridge of Troubled water - Simon & Garfunkel Meal: Pizza Fingerprints of the Gods, I've heard about this and it sounded good.
  10. I was thinking of adding another category. Nurburgring any car any spec What do you think?
  11. Gives you something to do anyway I fudged up once, flew out of the carousel and came to a stop.
  12. Just managed to get the Nurburgring by the skin of my teeth Class C: Tsukuba (Full) = Cable 1:00.232 (Trueno) Class A: Suzuka (3.61 miles) = Muffleman 2:07.296 (SRT10) Class A: Nuburgring = Cable – 8:03.983 (NSX-R) Class S: Maple Valley (Full) = Cable 1:25.533 (NSX-R GT) Standard supra: Nuburgring = Cable 8:47.941 Right, now back to Suzuka
  13. Yeah, I agree with that. I used to like Vindaloo's etc but I really don't see the point anymore.
  14. I love spicy food, used to put tobasco on my work sandwiches
  15. I never said I'm incapable of driving the Supra sedately. I Just don't see the point in driving it when I've have another car which I can have a lot more fun in this time of year. That and the Supra costs about twice as much to run for no actual benefit to me.
  16. It just doesn't make sense for me to use it at the mo. My drive to work is about 6 miles of country lanes which have been extremely muddy of late. If I had to do a lot of dual carriage way/ motorway driving then I'd be more inclined to use the Supra.
  17. They do look lovely but I didn't buy mine to pose in and I'm not too bothered on the comfort factor. I've got an MX5 for my daily drive and I feel a lot happier chucking that around in this weather, plus if it does go tits up I'll prolly be going a lot slower and it wouldn't cost no where near as much to fix.
  18. The challenge begins Class C: Tsukuba (Full) = Cable 1:00.232 (Trueno) Class A: Suzuka (3.61 miles) = Cable – 2:07.573 (Mugen S2000) Class A: Nuburgring = Cable – 8:03.983 (NSX-R) Class S: Maple Valley (Full) = Cable 1:25.533 (NSX-R GT) Standard supra: Nuburgring = jim_supra 8:48.645
  19. I had an incident like that when I was about 21. Need to draw a legal document for them to sign declaring their age before anything interesting happens.
  20. Nope, just don't see a point in driving the Supra if I can't put my foot down even a little bit.
