  4. Rob Wild was looking for an engine as a project for some students, I thought he was having mine but did not get back to me, might be worth a PM ??
  5. Does it come with a pipe holder
  6. Buy a cheap stereo with an aux in socket or audio in red and white inputs and use the ipod, tesco would be a good idea for the stereo and the aux cable (£1.99 as I just brought one), you will have a radio as well then, all in about £50 would be a nice set up for a garage
  7. Last chance for the above before ebay, I can bring to ACE cafe any of the following tomorrow, I have dropped prices as well ! 8. This is what I got from Brian Crower, dont know if it makes sence The rods we have in stock right now are "I" beam and the weight are 495/210. The bolts weigh 57 grams. Thank you, Dustin
  9. It is cheap, in fact very cheap but it will not get used once my other Supra is back on the road, I dont want to be waiting ages for a sale and know this will sell at this price, had some interest already so very promising

  14. Not too bad when you work for a body shop , still I bet you were kicking yourself, or did you do it just to get the respray !!
  15. Genuine Toyota Supra RZ 6 Speed in Red for Sale I as most on this forum know snapped this car up a couple of months ago from a gentleman in Southampton who needed to sell the car quickly to fund a new car purchase, I have used the car for just over 1000 miles now and it has been 100%, it was running the 112 mph limiter until last week and has been very well looked after by the previous owner who had the car 7 years and used it to travel up and down the motorway to work, in the short time I have owned the car I have had a major service and full inspection at AFR which included Miles are around 155,000 I have the BIMTA certificate to show KM-Miles conversion The car is running very well and strong on the turbos with no smoke on full boost, it has the UK spec CD player/tape so no radio reception issues and has the cleanest boot and interior I have seen with all the tools All electrics work as they should Fitted with a Cat 1 alarm system I have the last 8 years MOT's and some service history but as the last owner was an engineer at Southampton Airport he did a lot of work himself Cambelt replacement All fluids changed including the LSD and gearbox Subframe bolts re-torqued Matrix flushed several times as heating was poor, much better now As New Side mounted intercooler fitted Apexi Cat back exhaust fitted Blitz Blow off valve fitted Thor FCD fitted New Plugs, air filter, oil filter and coolant Inspection of steering, drive belts, brakes, valve clearances, fuel lines, ball joints, chassis and exhaust, here are Matts comments from AFR can give my feedback now This car is in very good shape, very straight and has clearly been looked after. It genuinely doesn't look like it has done the miles it has ! Dean booked it in for the biggest service to make sure all was as it should be, and Dean will tell you he's had no surprises or phone calls from me saying it needs anything on top of the service. The service it's just had only used top quality oils and fluids aswell as genuine Toyota parts. If you're in the market for a TT then it's certainly worth a look. Will road test it tomorrow and report on that too if you like The car has served its purpose of getting me through until my Single rebuild was finished and it will be at the end of the month, this car will be ready to be picked up then The car is a fantastic deal at this price IMO, it would make for a great starting point for a project or just a wonderful stock looking car, there are a few bits that you may want to do A few stone chips and a poor attempt at covering them on the bonnet Matrix has been flushed several times and now gives good heat but is not as hot as it should be (fine for me) Valve stem seals cause a puff of smoke on start up, this gives no issues to running of the car and clears in seconds I will be bringing this car to ACE Cafe on Tuesday for all to see, it has nothing to hide and will make a superb car for a new member or perhaps an NA driver looking for their first TT and of course it has the fantastic 6 speed box It has an MOT until May and tax until the end of Jan, I will put six months tax it I get the full asking price for the new owner
  16. I will put the business idea forward, see if the office are willing to back us Could make a few quid though as a blown engine/damaged piston etc could be more interesting to a customer and therefore sell for more.......... You can see it now, friends come round and you point out the hole in the piston that you did while at 1.8 bar at Santa Pod etc, that should get rid of unwanted guests quite quickly !!
  17. Well I seem to be good at trashing engines, not sure the maths will be right though with current set up! Wonder how much it costs to strip and clean a V8 or Supra engine to the required level to mound a piece of glass on it and call it a table ??
  18. http://www.bitw.com/bitwcarseatsofa.htm http://www.inspired-design-uk.com/ Must stop looking now !http://yzokay.en.ec21.com/GC01001260/CA01129136/Racing_Seat,Sport_Seat,Car_Seat,Office_Chair.html:D
  19. http://blog.makezine.com/archive/2007/01/v8_coffee_table.html There are loads for sale on interweb, would have liked a Supra one though, Just so happens I have a Block and judging by the Coffee table prices I would make more money selling it that way than as a working block !!
  20. I was thinking of getting the block cleaned up and used as a base for a coffee table The supra seats would make for a good gaming/tv watching seat in a games room
  21. Matt Harwood has just upgraded mine and the stock speakers are in the boot of the car at Phoenix, you can have it for the postage costs, not up there until next week though
  22. Goodness someone pimped your ride Good luck with the sale mate, hope you get what your looking for
  23. Its an old Toyota, a good one but still old, end of really Most of my colleagues at work have never heard of them now, and those that have just look in wonder when you tell them what you paid for it, its a bit bias on here so the wrong place to ask what they are really worth but they will just get cheaper and cheaper as time goes on, there will be a point at some time though I feel when they may become a classic and then the price may go back up again like the old school Celica's etc but not for a while yet I have two Supra's BTW and love them
