  8. as above, as i snapped the bleed nipple on mine! if anyone has one please make a sad man very happy! [GRIN][/GRIN]
  9. thats what i thought, i wouldnt bleed the system with that damaged nipple anyway. so new caliper it is then! poo!
  10. ok so starting to lose the love now, its just one thing after another... so i needed to change my rear brake pads, of which i have done before on my old supra. done the offside, no probs took 10 min, then i went to tackle the drivers side and i could not get the piston back in! so i had to remove the top part of the caliper to sort the piston out. finally got it back in, put the brake line back on and then went to tighten up my bleed nipple and SNAP! it broke off! (my own fault i know!) so now i have air in my brake system and the pedal is all soft! how do i get round this...i know im going to have to get hold of another j spec rear caliper as it will be easier than drilling that nipple out and retheading but i take it i will have to bleed the whole system now?? Please advise! [sHOCK][/sHOCK]
  11. i think i will look at a bigger rad then, any other input from peeps???
  12. yep orignal rad from my N/A, i was told they were the same as the TT ones.
  13. ummmm, i will look at getting a new one then! thanks for the tip bud!
  14. yep the heater is working fine, i did try that.. but if im getting coolant in my expantion tank then the cap should be ok right?
  15. i will try that, any other things it could be??
  16. Hi guys, Well today was the first day i got to take my new NA to TT swap out for a good run after she flew through the MOT! however i did notice the engine was running really hot. but the temp guage was sitting just below halfway. on the way back from my litte motorway run of which i was not pushing it just giving it a good run checking all the gears etc, i got the the garage and noticed steam coming from the side of the bonnet. when i opened the bonnet i could see coollent running out but could not see where it was coming from! i hopped straight back in to the car can got it home asap. its only a 1min drive from my house. got home and jacked it up, had a good look but still can see where it came from.... even ran the engine for a bit and there was nothing leaking! i checked the coolent level, and that was ok, the only possible thing i can think of is it was coming from the expansion tank?? i did check it and the was coolent in there but only filled to about a quater of the way up. Any thoughts??
  17. i got mine from ebay and it fits fine.... and i got it for 185 new! i just made them an offer!
  18. cool cool i will try that then its the same with reverse to be honest so i guess its the same thing!
  19. thanks mate, i just read up on this! io will give that a go! would that be why im finding i bit hard to get into 1st?
  20. adjust..... please tell me how! i missed this! lol
  21. yeah i cant go much above stock power thats why i put a big stage 4 paddle cluch in there but i have to admit im not a fan of it! its either on or off! and really stiff getting it into 1st!
  22. out of interest, what would it be worth now? with a TT lump (47k) 5 speed manual and an aerotop? along with stage 4 clutch full leather interior FMIC etc.... im in no way thinking of selling! not after the amount of blood, sweat and tears has gone into it, purely just out of interest...
  23. Thanks for the kind comments! its funny, i am actually going to be replacing the skirts as the guy that had it before me decided to saw them in half to get them to fit now there are cracks and alsorts on there i have patched them up but will be replacing! what does anyone suggest? to go with my trial rear and JDL front. i do quite like the trial skirts or the OEM ones.
