As i said this has crime watch special written all over it
-
oh hell yeah this seems too good to be true, i certianly wont be the first person buying insurance from them, this has crimewatch special written all over it!
-
just out of interest mate, were elephant easy to deal with??? i am insured with them too, but i have never claimed from them. Basically, was it a total horror story?? or were they really easy to claim with? just a heads up really;)

No the insurance company effectively buy it off you when you crash it. but you can take anything off it usually before you have it over to them. many people take stuff like stereos etc as soon as a cars written off. if you want your car back, they will sell it back to you, for not much

The thing you have to remember is 0-60 times on paper are often quite different to what is achievable on the road. The auto on paper is slower, 5.6 is the stated 0-60 and 4.9 is the manual However to get that 4.9 0-60 in the manual you have to shift like the stig, perfect every time. And most will struggle to do this The auto has been reported to be much faster than the manual because it shifts for you the same every time. and thus in a real world situation can be quicker. but this can all very. the bottom line is, there isnt a real difference in the supra between the auto and the manual. nothing that you would notice really on the road. i have a standard auto supra tt and its mentally quick. Because its an auto, its incredibly smooth too. For me, i prefer it to the manual now because its such a good auto box. The manual too is great, and i would have a manual every time in another car, as there arent many auto boxes as good as the soops. The thing is, if i had bought a manual in the first place i would no doubt love that. But just dont discredit the auto box as being rubbish or a cop out, it really is just as good just different.

Ok....................... All I have to say is omg! However, if they have the capital to fund such a venture, and they have done the math, this may actually be financially viable. Remember they are going to get millions of people paying just £450. There projected profit may actually be much lower than other insurers, but i would imagine still be in the millions. To a smaller amount of shareholders willing to take a moderate risk in a new company like this, the projected dividends would i imagine be extremely high. My insurance policy doesnt run out till january. However, if i took that i would be saving a grand on my tt as im 21. I have often wondered, does having a faster car make you more likely to crash? I think generally yes, but not inline with the increase in premium. A very interesting business proposal indeed. and i hope to got its real!

N/A manual about 6.5 maybe a little lower if your lucky (6.3-6.4) N/A Auto mid to high 6's TT Manual 4.9 (if you can change like the stig) TT Auto 5.6

Im a student at lancaster uni with massive loan for my TT can i just point out that battlefield 2 DOES HAVE A COOP mode, it was released with the 1.3 patch available free to download and works on LAN and NET! my jap spec tt only takes about 60 ltrs when the light has come on. So obviously there is about 10 ltrs left, which about right for a reserve fuel level. Im getting about 280 miles to £60 / ltrs of optimax with mixed driving, a few blasts of laying down the law included.

Put me down, ill be bringing my supra tt

who owns the fast & furious Replica Supra
silvershark44 replied to Jurgen-Jm-Imports's topic in Supra Chat
The real one was already tuned in the us, and the makers of fast and the furious just changed the styling. They introduced the bomex front bumper on it i believe so it was uniquely kitted back then. The real one has a total bhp of 650bhp but of course brian had nos on top of that:D The colour is a lamborghini colour, and basically all the parts in it are really expensive, mainly premium branded, like HKS and Blitz etc. A full spec is availabel somewhere on the net. One day when im rich and have too much time on my hands ill build an exact replica myself. Right down to the last detail, except if im living in the uk, i might keep it right hand drive. My favourite bit in the film is when they "pop the hood" on the wrecked supra and jessy goes "2JZ no shit" I mean what the fuck did they expect to see under there?? And also I really hope they sourced a new shell as that one they had was fooooooked:D And when he goes, " you just need to put about $15k into it, with a few overnight parts from japan" I dont know where jessy was shopping but i think he was getting some really good deals there to make that monster!! Ahh hollywood, dont you just love it:innocent: -
Ok got it now thanks all soonto

The is absolutely no way in the world you will be driving a supra in your first year of driving, maybe at 18 but prepare for megga bucks I regard myself as getting on the Supra ladder extremely quickly and im 21! I have always had high insurance group cars for my age. My first car was a corsa sri, and that was a nightmare to insure at 17 and Thats insurance group 6! Then I ditched that at 18 and bought a Celica GT, striaght to insurance group 15 but i was raped by the insurance company for that. Then at 19 I got a heavily modified CRX DEL SOL SIR, insurance group 16 which i modified to show standard. I WAS ABSOLUTELY RAPED BY INSURANCE COMPANIES ON THAT. Im still sore from that now:D I then bought my supra twin turbo at 21. One thing you really must be aware of, is that you will bomb it around in your first car like a formular one driver. Everyone has done it, and most people crash because of it. I was fortunate to never have a crash but I was the only lad that i knew in my entire year at school that didnt crash their first car. Having a supra for a first car is asking for trouble. You wont drive it sensibly because you are buying a fast car to drive fast. If speed didnt bother you, then you would buy a micra. But i wish you luck, and really hope you dont bin a supra.

my active spoiler comes down at 90mph rather than 60mph. Can i use this same principle to alter the active spoiler to activate at the right speed?

Look on the back of your pc at work, there is usually a sticker with the pcs cd key on it. Probably only useful if your running xp pro though So a bit of a medium to long shot, but you wouldnt believe the number of cd keys that are just stuck to the back of pcs in offices.
