    White Supra

Between Brandon and Langley Moor in Durham on Tuesday afternoon. Nice Car
  2. Sensible answer there mate! Spending extra pennys now will save you pounds in the long run
  3. Na, don't think so, you'll find it's all in the engineering. Simple fact Optimax IS a higher ron/octain than the pish you probably put in your car. For a N/A, yeah lower grade fuel's are ok'ish, though I'd still try and use a higher octain premium fuel. Tubby no way, Sainsbury's/Asda, or whatever you use is far to course a fuel and in time you'll roast a piston. But hey do what you want it's your car and your money.
  4. I only use Optimax, BP and Esso are not as good as Optimax.
  5. See your boss and let him/her deal with it!!
  6. They are well within their rights to renew it automatically. It will be in the small print on your policy documents. You do however have a 14 day cooling off period to cancel. Thats how it worked when i was an insurance advisor for Budget Insurance anyway. If not just tell them that you sold the car before the renewal date.
  7. I have an N/A and use normal unleaded, sometimes (for a treat!!) i put optimax in otherwise normal unleaded for an N/A is fine. If i had a TT i would only use optimax. In the boyfriend's Skyline GTR he only use's Optimax
  8. Simple, it's the fuel pump cutting in then switching off, no need to worry about it. That's what Toyota have told me today.

    Service

Hi everyone, just after a bit advice from you experts....... I have had my Supra for 4 months now, it is a 1996 N/A with 49500 miles on the clock. It has had an MOT done when i bought it and the garage changed the oil and filter and it has had a new cam belt. I use the car every day for work and i have put about 5000 miles on roughly since i bought it (my job involves a lot of driving). I have booked it in to have a full service for peace of mind. Iam going to get the garage to change the oil again and i have bought a TRD oil filter, change the rear brake pads as they are on their way out and also put some irridium plugs in. Is there anything else i might need to know about or look out for or get changed when i put it into the garage for service. Everything seems ok with the car apart from sometimes when i put it into gear it feels like it is grinding in a bit (yes clutch is dipped properly!). Sorry if this thread sounds silly its just this is my first Toyota Supra and i want to know how to look after it as best i can due to the high mileage im doing in it Thanks Robbo

    Electric Aerial

    Electric Aerial

Mine is up even when i listen to CD's and it is starting to do my head in as i think it looks crap!
  14. Does anyone know if there is anyway i can keep my electric aerial down (or half way down) when my radio/cd player is on? Reason is i have changed head unit and the aerial stays up even when im listening to a CD and i think it looks horrible. Someone has told me to get a bee sting aerial fitted to the back of the roof but that would mean removing the old one and then filling the hole it leaves in the body work. My b/f on his Skyline can switch a button and the aerial only goes half way up but i cant see a buttom like that on my car. Sorry if this thread sounds dumb but i think when the aerial is up it makes the car look dated (like an 80's style car). Can anyone advise??? Thanku Claire
  15. As above........ Claire:)
  16. I should be there in my Supra and my boyfriend in his GTR, hopefully it will be a good turn out.
  17. If you are covered fully comp on your own insurance policy and are over 25 then you should be covered to drive any other vehicle THIRD PARTY ONLY (other vehicle must have insurance running on it obviously). Elephant print it on the bottom right of the Certificate of Insurance if you are covered for this.
  18. Goodluck with your Skyline. They are awesome cars. My b/f has an R33 GTR and its amazing, he has had a R32 GTR and a R33 GTS-T also and they are nice cars
