Only reason was because it was the closest possible place and the temp guage was hot and not staying down long-I dint wanna risk anywhere else. Coolant was also pissing out quicker than a mules leak so refilling would have been pretty pointless. Is the pipe metal not rubber?

I think... It burst on a journey today, coolant everywhere. So I took it to Toyota with the temp guage rising rapidly. They were meant to ring me back this evening but they havent and now its eating away at me. Was it the pipe or part of the radiator? It was the thick, long one going across the bottom with the burst in it. You can see it from the top of the engine bay very clearly and the hole was along the bottom. Is it going to be expensive....?

Another BPU Q... I've ordered parts from Gaz at Envy and just asked him for a BPU set up. On the list: Blitz NUR Exhaust Full Decat inc. Ring FCD Not on the list was a fuel pump-Should it have been on?

As Carlos said above, my Dad told me that he was taught to drive by engine braking in the 70's now its the other way round though when learning. Whenever he took me out for a spin he would tell me off for not coming down through the gears like 4-3-2 and not 4-2 etc as I was taught in my lessons.

Bollocks just spoke to Rob at Envy and he's leaning towards it being the coilpacks.

Also forgot to add that 2nd turbo definately comes on at lower speeds. How could it not be working at higher speed....?

No lights on when this happens. If the 2nd turbo doesnt come on what will the guage read? Thanks

I suggested that to my Dad but he thought it would be more erratic and not just at the speeds I mentioned?

I do have a boost guage-Havent checked it out when this happens, to be honest I wouldnt know what I was looking for either.... The car has an aftermarket exhaust (Mongoose I think...) and I was told there was a cat removed but I'm not 100% sure. I'm getting Gaz to see what I have/havent got 2mo.

This is really doing my head in now. When I have my foot down from 0-whatever when I get to 80 leptons ish the car turns wierd! It feels like it stops pulling erratically. It sort of jumps forward like it wants to go but something drags it back. This happens up till 110ish and then runs smooth. It reoccours at around 130-40 leptons too. It also happens if I'm cruising at 80-90 and want to stomp on it it just doesnt pull, it jumps. From what I've read about Supra's they should take off at 80 leptons right? Any ideas? Its going to Envy tomorrow for a service and I'm worried its gonna be an expensive problem....

Sometimes when you park across 2 bays you make yourself a target IMO. I do it myself sometimes... Park across 2 bays that is Now all I do is take the missus' shopping cart or park as far away from the entrance as possible and hope the place doesnt fill up. Mines in on Monday to get a good few marks taken out from previous "hits".
