  1. I am guessing both probably! It'll have the wiring from the seat I imagine it just probably wont be connected up to the holder and it wont have the bulb. Gaz.
  2. Yup, all the cars I've seen dont have em and Martin F (the fountain of knowledge that he is) said they didn't work from the factory. My lexus ones do though Gaz.
  3. Dunno about the rest of the questions Matt, but the seatbelt lights dont work on the UK spec from the factory... No idea why Gaz.
  4. Might it just not be the fact its colder (well, it is up here anyway!) Gaz.
  5. No mate, its a UK soop, they don't suffer from boost creep like the Jspecs. Dump those cats! Gaz.
  6. Yep, was 6l exactly when I changed too - the book lies obviously! Gaz.
  7. Heres a bit of info on them: Mitsubishi uses TD04, TD05, TD06, TD07, TD08...to designates turbo housing. For example, TD05H-16G 7cm^2 is a turbo with, - TD05 turbine housing with 'H' style turbine housing/wheel. There are S, SH, H... style of turbine wheel/housing. - 16G compressor wheel. 16 is the size of the wheel, 1.83 inducer, 2.37 exducer. G is the style of wheel (alternating height of blades). C, B, T style wheel's blades have the same height. Blades are always evenly spaced, but the number of and pitch of the blades can change between models. - 8cm^2 is referring to exhaust discharge area in the turbine housing. More specifically, it is the cross-sectional area of the smallest intake passage in the turbine housing before the passage spreads around the circumferential volute that leads to the turbine wheel. Very similar to Garrett turbo's A/R. The smaller number means faster spool-up but more back pressure at higher rpm. Bigger number means longer spool up but less back pressure, thus more top end power. Greddy modifies Mitsu turbos. Bisides, TD04, TD05, TD06, TD07 turbos, Greddy also makes hybrid turbo, T67 is TD07 compressor and TD06 turbine, same turbo as TD06SH-25G. T78 is the compressor of TD08 and turbine of TD07, T88 uses compressor and turbine from TD08. Gaz.
  8. Matt, It says "Turbine Type: TD-05.06" & "Turbine Type: T78.T88, TD-07.08 Single" None of which are stock turbos.... Gaz.
  9. All I know is that they don't hold much boost - even 18/19psi is iffy. Gaz.
  10. You know you want one Graham Gaz.
  11. You can use the diff but youll have 4500 revs in sixth @ 70mph! Gaz.
  12. You need: Gearbox, flywheel, clutch Transmission sub-tunnel Interior trim panel, gearknob, selector, boot etc Pedal Box Clutch cylinder ECU All shafts - Propshaft, Driveshaft etc etc Differential And a fair bit of labour including modifying the crossmember, bits and bobs here and there. Gaz.
  13. The VPC is useful when you go to big twin or single turbos as the AFMs would be in the way of the huge induction piping, it would then be a restriction... You would normally have to modify your lovely stainless piping that you get with such kits too... Gaz.
  14. Off the top of my head, 36psi... Gaz.
  15. Thats what fried the Apexi I think... The controller was alright (sometimes used to switch itself off though, never did before the jump start) it was the solenoid that was goosed...
  16. Wasn't on purpose, honest To be fair, I would have one, I just wouldn't pay what people want for them though! Gaz.
  17. Its a porno... Gaz. PS. OK, so its actually a very good movie (30 mins!) of a streetrace between an Escrot Cosworth and a Supe TT through the streets of Stockholm (GIS = Getaway in Stockholm). Gaz.
  18. Guys, I am going to at least block off the EGR system on my Supe. Now should I remove the entire system (two blockoff plates) or should I just block it off (using one plate)? Cheers! Gaz.
  19. Theres a lot of more differences than that also, the diffs spring to mind. Don't think anyone has fully compiled a complete list of differences between a UK/US/Euro/Jap models... I think us lot got the J-spec and UK-spec differences down to a T though. Gaz.
  20. The US spec is an "export" car, which means it has different engine bits, and a higher spec than the Jap model, but not as good spec as the UK model... Heres a good comparison between the UK/Euro/Jap/US models: http://www.i-supra.com/6/ubb.x?a=tpc&s=154607117&f=9126041111&m=3926067711 Gaz.
