not too bad at all thanks mate just a few squeaks and rattles I need to put my finger on, but other than that it's going ok for once. Girlfriend bought me some new alloys, so have to get some pics up soon...made a few minor changes to the car too I'm not toooo sure if I like them or not though

Standard supra alloys, were on the car when I got it. No great damage, just the usual small scrapes you can expect on a car this old! lol I will try and get some pics of each wheel to show you, but at the moment the only pics I hae are ones of the whole car. Tyres ARE legal, but only just... So you'd probably need to fit new tyres almost straight away. Open for inspection! I dunno how much these are going for tbh, just not got the space to keep them and I got my new alloys on Friday! offers? I got a £30 fine on saturday, had no plate for about 2 months so not too bad. The copper told me I can have it on the dash, I thought that was wrong but i'm not moaning

thanks again when searching on here, I find that there are so many topics that don't answer your questions, but if you find a topic that does it is full of contradictions. I just want to make sure I'm getting the right things for my car, if you can't ask for advice on a supra owners club... I don't know where you can. I'm just trying to learn, like I'm sure you had to do one day.

stupid, stupid, stupid question but what is the whole 9.5j & 8.5j things about... I've kinda come to the conclusion that the tyres are gonna cost around £500, I want some new alloys and so I might kill 2 birds with 1 stone lol push the boat out and get some new alloys instead of new tyres!!

cheers tbh she looked on black circles and they had them, but not in the same make as the front... It probably doesn't affect it, just me being fussy!! I don't understand tyres tbh, inside my door it says the front should be 225/50/16 & the rear should be 245/50/16... so my front one's are ok, but the back atm are 45, does it really make a lot of difference?

tbh my girlfriend spent half of yesterday trawling through tyre sites. want some decent tyres, got goodyear eagle f1's on at the moment but she can't find any to fit the rear. Now I know the sizes are definately right, I'll have another look myself. Thanks mate

cheers, all ya need is someone with a bit of knowledge lol now that I know the sizing is ok, still leaves me with a problem though I don't like to buy tyres of different makes, but so far eery site that I have looked on has a very limited amount of 245/34/16's and they don't hae the same makes as for the front tyres. All I can seem to find is summer tyres

Ive not got an owners manual, the car didn't come with one and I've never got round to getting one. Did a quick search on here but I can't see anything with the same sizes as the one's I have on now which is why I asked if they were wrong.

Not really too fussy about the style, like so many different ones, I'd just have to see pics! Would have to be bigger rear's obviously! Prefer them with tyres, but not essential. Also, don't wanna spend an absolute fortune but price isn't really a problem... anyone know of any?

I have standard alloys on my supra...can anyone help with tyre sizes. At the moment I have 225/50/16 on the front and 245/45/16 on the back. These were on the car when I got it, but I have come to get new tyres and cannot find ones to fit the back anywhere! Can anyone tell me if I have the correct tyre sizes on at the moment, or if they are wrong. Need tyres asap! Thanks

I've had quite a few older people talk to me about the car, saying how nice it was then i watch them have a heartattack when I tell them whats under the bonnet Last night I had a 10-13 year old chav call me a puff first time i've been called that in the supra, never considered it a puffs car

My temp guage has not worked since buying the car. So my friend checked the fuse box in the drivers footwell and the engine bay, which are all fine. Then i decided to buy new dials, which fitted today and still no joy. What other possibilities could there be is there anywhere else that i may possibly need to check?
