  1. Sales seem a bit slow and prices are all over the place on N/A's anywhere from £3000 - £6500.
  2. Thinking of putting up for sale my Supra in a couple of weeks. Where's best to advertise it for a quick sale: on here, Pistonheads, Autotrader or Ebay?
  3. That is very nice, and if you have diet iron bru not many calories! I used to always drink Stella, but during the World Cup last year I got a taste for cider and now i can't stand the taste of lager anymore. So its got to be Magners or Cirrus. Then vodka red bull with maybe some Port chasers if i'm on a mission!!

  6. How about the weekend of 18/19 August?
  7. I like the sound of that. Does the market still operate on a Sunday? Not been down there for a while. Plenty of parking, piccie oportunities and grub!!

    Jaws

Anyone watching Jaws on ITV...it might be made in the 70's but this is an awesome film. It always reminds me of my youth. No i didn't live in Amityville No i wasn't one of Chief Brodys kids No i wasn't on the beach when the ssssssssssssshark attacked!!
  10. I'm in the RAF and at present instruct new recruits joining my trade which is an Aerospace Systems Operator (RADARS). The meat and bones of it is we watch the UK airspace for any incoming threat including terrorist hijacks. We also provide RADAR cover for the guys at camp Bastion in Afghanistan and Data Links for 16 AA Bde.
  11. Sory mate still none the wiser. I was posted at RAF Spadeadam and lived in Brampton, so know where Carlisle is, other than that and i'm lost. There must be somewhere in Newcastle that would be a bit more central?? Is it gonna be in August??

    What do you think?

You should be able to get a decent manual for a bit more money. I've not driven an auto, so IMO I like to be in control when driving and you can drop it whenever you want. It should also keep a bit more value when you eventually sell it for a TT!!

Me neither. Did you check out that Pioneer Plasma on Richer Sounds? Its the cheapest 50" I could find. You just need to check stock at your local store and go and have a look. There is plenty of cheap 42", but bigger ones still demand over a grand

    New TV time

Before i got my LCD i researched both and apparently plasma screens start to degrade after about 5 years. LCD were an upgrade on plasma, but i dont know. I like mine but i've not really seen a plasma. Prices on both have dropped dramatically over the last few years. I paid £800 on a flat screen 28" 100 hz normal tv less than 4 years ago.
  16. or call them? How the roles reverse... Usually its women who have the silly ideas:d:p

Check out Richer sounds website, they have stores nationwide. They often do Plasma's at half the retail price.
  21. This may piss on your chips, but a mate of mine bought one, and when you are sending or receiving texts, its displays one word at a time on the screen... It takes me about 10 mins to send a small text as it is, so for me it would be easier to drive to the person and tell them the message!!

For a grand you wont get a 50" LCD IMO unless its a shit make from Afghanistan!! Dont know about Plasma, they seem to be cheaper now that LCD seem to have taken their mantle. I got a 40" Sony LCD from the Comet website for £850. They do good savings if you order online. Richer Sounds is another website who have some massive but limited bargains, but you must pick up in store.
  23. I have no idea mate, it was on when i got it. Its stainless steel and quite large, theres no manufacturer markings on it so I haven't a clue.
