  1. what are the auto boxes like in these?
  2. looks well, i used to have one of these in red, the wings are a nightmare for breeding rust, mine were replaced but painted badly and started to go again after a few months never knew there was an automatic version, pity you are so far away or i'd be interested in this good luck with the sale though, these cars are well specced for the age of them, and with such low mileage, seems like a great buy for someone
  3. yep, list of games over here please, could do with one of these to pass the time when i go into hospital at the end of the month
  4. i'm a male model, i dont have a Supra though
  5. fantastic game, i don't support Boro but my Dad does so he's well chuffed. i also had a nice bet come up with AC Milan, Villereal and now Boro winning

what sort of cabbage are you looking when you come to sell?
  7. Why, did they not come in blue? im sure i've seen them in this colour before???
  8. hehe, i did of course mean £600
  9. you are spot on cos thats the asking price. i'm always out for a bargain, so was hoping you would say £6 or less. It looks mint in that blue though!
  10. What would be a reasonable price for a MkIV Supra with the following spec : TURBO AUTOMATIC *1996 *Electric Blue *Mint Condition *Approx 52,000 Miles Cheers, Craig
  11. People (insurers) claim one of the reasons is that parts are more expensive for imported cars, therefore in the event of accident/damage, repair costs are going to be higher. I can understand this if it for areas of a car that are completelty different to the UK spec cars (eg.Turbo components/uprated suspension in JDM cars), but i'm of the opinion that about 90% or so of a UK car is going to be the same as a Jap version and the massive premiums for Imports aren't justified at all. Just my opinion though...
  12. Was thinking the exact same thing myself. It seems like a bit of a 'look at me i'm only x years old and i have a supra' kinda excercise...
  13. Sorry to drift off topic mate, but i'm interested to know how you managed to register the car with a W reg plate if the car is 1996? Good luck with the sale, don't think i've ever seen a green Mk4 Supra!
  14. Fantasy Channel = TVX .. or so i heard
  15. Unless its changed in the past 6 months or so, PayPal will refund the full amount paid if the seller doesn't respond to the complaint or isn't able to provide proof of purchase.
  16. hmm.. so you reckon it might be possible then? sounds like it taking advatage of someone in the DVLA not doing their job properly!
  17. Nope it wasn't new, it is a Toyota MR2 G-Limited, he was able to tax the car with no MOT. I think you are maybe right in saying that its a cock-up with the DVLA. I think that clears up my query about the plate anyway, think i'll forget about it, although i wouldn't mind buying the plate for a future car i may have. It spells my name and initials about as close as possible on a reg plate.
  18. Feedback is absolutely disgraceful, i read dozens of the buyers comments and the seller troes to turn it around on to the buyer. Its obvious that they don't reply to emails but in respose to negative feedback they say that buyer should have emailed!Like someone said, they are hiding the bad feedback amongst the good. They seem to be extremely high-volume sellers using three different accounts, i am assuming they can't keep up with the workload and thats the reason for the anount of bad feedback, they are selling hundreds of items a week! I would go to another seller to buy whatever item you are after, no point in getting involved in a slanging match with these guys as they'll just end up ruining your feedback % They shouldn't be allowed to trade on ebay
  19. Alright, well thanks to jamesmark8378, i've been able to successfully hoing up to the club. Had a few problems with PayPal but got therew in the end. Looking forward to learning more about Supras through browsing the site
  20. Do you mean the year that it was first registered in the UK? Reason that i'm enquiring about this is that a guy on another forum has been allowed the 4 year rule for being exempt from the MOT test, just because his MR2 was imported then registered in the UK. Its being treated as new car rather than being considered as the caracording to the year it was born.
  21. Does anyone know what the score is with registering a private plate on an Imported Supra? I know that you aren't allowed to fit a plate that is newer than the car, but when they are imported, are they considered as a 2006 car or does it go by the year of thew actual manufacture? Its even more confusing in that over here in Northern Ireland, we don't have age-related plates, so an import or indeed a car brought over from the mainland UK can be registered with a brand new registration! What i want to do is put a 51 english plate (year 2001) onto a Supra (when i get round to getting one) which will probably be a mid-90's car. Cheers, Craig
  22. His name is Steven Gault and he posts on a few of the local forums. I'm sure Darragh can tell you he knows his onions. Met him a few weeks ago and he's a nice chap, always very busy though!
  23. Yeah i had one of those Star Tacs on BT Cellnet contract over 10 years ago. I was the first person that i knew to have a mobile phone and everyone wanted to use it for the novelty value! Cost me a bloody fortune as well! It had the ability to write text mesages as well, but you couldn't send them for some reason. Then again, i didn't know anyone with a mobile!
  24. Yes mate, hospital can really do your head in as you will know yourself, but i got used to it after the first couple of months. Being positive is the only way i canb see to be, it would be all too easy to rot away and feel sorry for myself, but life goes on and i'm lucky to have that life. All my frinds and in particular a lot of guys/girls who use my local car forums kept my spirits up and helped me no end. In all, 2005 has to be the worst ever year i've had and i'm glad to see the back of it. A few months before the accident, my girlfriend at the time lost our baby and it really affected me. :'( But its a new year and it couldnt be anyway as bad as the last, i'm looking forward to getting a Supra so i have something to spend my time and money on
