  1. Good luck with the build . Can't wait to see this finished.
  2. Hi Starbuck.. I didn't make any decisions to be honest. The CHs would be the preference unfortunately . However, I could be tempted by some of the Yank stuff, i.e. the Fiske range.
  3. I just tried to get a quote from Sky Insurance... However they don't insure anyone in Northern Ireland .
  4. Thanks so much for the info and replies guys. Makes life alot easier now that I can confirm the correct information. From what I have received back, the jap fitment does indeed refer to the 5x114.3 bolt pattern. Chris, I know what you mean about their weight. I'm undecided about some of the lighter rims out there. I'm liking the OZ Alleggerita HLT at the moment, not sure how they would look on an otherwise stock looking car.
  5. No worries Tenttu thank you. I presume they dont have any adaptors etc? Is ET stamped on them anywhere to identify the offset?
  6. Thanks for the info Nic . Do you have any idea on the offsets I should be looking at, to clear with UK callipers? I guess the two different styles of the LM and CH make it a little hard to call?
  7. Some replies I have had... "The CH is only made in 5x114.3 in an 18x8.0 ET38, and the LM from Germany for the UK market is only made in a 5x112 (closest to 5x114.3) but et’s are low so not ideal." "BBS Germany do not offer any wheel for Toyota Supra. It may be possible to get the BBS LM wheel from Japan but it is much more expensive than the CH wheels"
  8. The UK 4 pot jobbies Nic.
  9. Thanks for the replies folks... Keron, you could be right I do remember they were in difficulties some time ago. Anyone else have any more info?
  10. Folks, Just a query on fitting BBS wheels to the Supra. Firstly do BBS make wheels to fit the car? I've see a few fitted on Supra's, has this been with adaptors? I'm getting responses back from alloy suppliers that states BBS don't make them to fit the car... Possibly in Japan you may be able to find the size. Can you guys confirm the info below is correct? I have been looking at CH's and LM's I believe the bolt pattern is 5 x 114.3? I should be looking at the following size, widths and offsets? Front Size: 18 x 9 (42mm offset) Rear Size: 18 x 10 (50mm offset) I believe the Supra Spigot diameter is 60.1? Many thanks in advance! Neil
  11. Thanks Wez. That does seem to be a direction I would head in, funds permitting of course.
  12. Thanks Paul. Comment noted . I just haven't heard of anyone else on here running them.
  13. They must be fantastic then Wez haha. I just wonder is http://whifbitzperformancetuning.co.uk/toyota-supra-suspension-coil-overs-springs-nitron-p-1977.html a good road setup?
  14. As another alternative, has anyone tried the Nitron coilovers. AFAIK they have a great reputation. I see Whiffbitz sell them too.
  15. Any pics of it fitted please ?
  16. Thanks for the feedback . They do sound like a great subtle option . Did you get the larger EBV Tube with your kit? As that is meant to help the dip when transition occurs.
  17. Seems like a great setup. Please keep us posted with developments on this
  18. Thanks for the reply mate... It would be interested what options will work for you. Whether porting will be enough might be a questions for the experts, or perhaps a re-design of the standard manifold is required? The packaging constraints may cause an issue?
  19. Conan, I do a bit of detailing and am also from NI. If I can be of any advice give me a shout. As its been said, there are better products out there... being polite .
  20. As its been mentioned the torque is very impressive. fullthrottle, have you ported the standard manifold yet? Do you feel it would produce any worthwhile results?
  21. Do you have any more info on how you have found these after a few months?
  22. I was thinking SSI are the way forward to check it out. .
  23. It sure is. I noted the headlight washers. This made me dubious about it perhaps being an import, however im 100% sure it isn't. On close inspection you can see the holes had been filled and sprayed over. Many people hate them as we know, so it could have been personal taste too? I guess a badge is easy to remove though? Just being objective.
