have done a fair few miles in my freinds, great car but not toyota reliable hes had a gearbox at 25k (under warrenty £6 k) and a few other things.would rather have a merc e55 amg myself awesome car and a fair bit cheaper.
  7. because everybody wants 17 or bigger wheels i guess
  8. take a day off clean her up early ,fill up and go find some good roads to let it show you what its got. alternatively go and buy something for twice as much to get the same power which will cost more to run and repair. its human nature to get itchy feet. im the same just remind yourself of the facts . 0-60 sub 5 sec 175+ mph low 13 sec 1/4 mile with toyota reliability. convinsed yet? change your wife girlfreind instead
  9. my supra is a cat c and has been a gem of a car. dont be put off the car "is what it is" if its straight and full of new parts(rads ,intercooler etc) then i think its a bonus .cat c does not mean chassis bent it means the insurers chose not to repair.my particular car had panal damage and headlights yet still drove fine and was bought as salvage for £5500 only 2 1/2 years ago which shows the limit of the damage.the result was a mint 47k mile full history uk spec car for under £9 k this a year ago when such cars were 12+ k . dont be put off just pay £2 k less than you think its worth if it wasnt demonized. prehaps i am biased anyway good luck with the sale looks like a great car
  10. not a fan of body kits but have to say that looks so right it must be the paint job looks really awesome love it!
  11. i am interested what condition are wheels? how much are you after? cheers
  12. will these fit over uk brakes ? what are the offsets?
  13. how long have turbofit had trouble with farm animals crapping on there carpark?
  14. have to agree with nick on this one . you need to worry more about how much the house is going to cost to maintain rather than mpg on the car. enjoy the feeling of independance owning your own home gives you and the time for fast cars will come. best of luck
  15. am looking for 1 or 2 uk 17 wheels will consider set of 4 anyone?
  16. do u still have these 17 uk wheels?
  17. does anybody know if points on licence last 3 years from date of offence or date of conviction for said offence?
  18. here u are 19s on eihbachs with stock uk dampers, no rubbing atall
  19. those mr2 355 kit things are SHITE i can spot them a mile away. and god do i laugh. its far more satisfying imo to drive something slow looking with bags of power than something slowish that trys to look very fast.anyway i think even girls would tell the diffence when u start up the motor,my 14 year old daughter would and ive warned her about weirdos who drive such cars.
  20. hell what is going on. ok ive spent 2500 on bpu bilsteins 17 wheels and fmic but apart from that f*/k all. £50 a week on fuel 580 a year fully comp and full service and pads for 350. not counting the conversion one off then the car is costing very little. my brothers ford focus has cost more with main agent servicing.the car has not had anything go apart from consumables at all.may be down to the low miles 53000 or prehaps i have been lucky:)
  21. do not think it would be practical mate . why would you not want tyres they are new and you will need tyres anyway?
  22. i prefer the standard bumper look with an internal fmic myself but if you like it then good for u. i have done loads of things only i would be stupid enougth to do
